Ramses Classic/Tower near north exit are actually pretty clean and decent, and the rooms are spacious.

Ramses 7 on the east side is very clean, but the rooms are somewhat compact.

Classic but hotel Airu is nice, too. Too bad domani is gone.

Linden is probably my best in the area but I don’t like their bathtub. It is big enough by Ikebukuro standard but the little step inside the tub is annoying. Unfortunately I haven’t had a chance to see the top two rooms.

Aroma is also good, I have used one of their party rooms for photo shooting while I was working for an agency in ikebukuro. Long time ago.

Hotel Shaffle is my go-to in Ikebukuro. It's the hotel that TAG's lovely Sakura took me to, and I liked it ever since :-D

I went to both Ailu and Linden today. They are kinda similar, both probably run by the same company. The interior is exactly the same.
Now I understand what you mean about the steps in the bathtub. They really are annoying.

Thank you for your report but “went to both today” caught my eyes the most.

I thought nobody would noticed that

When you want to make a fair comparison, you have got to do it when your memory is fresh , right? I'm only doing it for science! :bigtears:

When I was working for an agency; long time ago, I had visited a hotel in Ikebukuro 5 times on the same day but it was all the same hotel.
It was a cheap, small, in and out quickly kind of place so you don’t need to know where.

Another cheap hotel in the area, they recently had a murder case…

Thank you. I saw that hotel from the outside the other day, while having a beer in the Minami Ikebukuro park.

Very nice location, with lots of cafe and a nice park nearby. Good location for meeting up with a new SB at the cafe or at the park then going somewhere more private.

Hotel X is my go to place in Ikebukuro. It is more expensive than other places next door and across the street but worth it because it is clean and stylish. There are 1 or 2 rooms with roof top baths. The only problem I have ever had there was I was in one room with no mobile signal. I had to go back to the lobby to make a call.

Aroma is also cool with a Bali vibe.

Sorry to sorta necro. Maybe stupid question, but any of these hotels have problems with Outcall escorts that show up after you check in?
I mean, I've heard of some LHs that won't allow unless you enter at same time with your partner.

No. Especially those in Ikebukuro.
