I think that this article is exceptionally insightful and honest, as well as displaying a wonderfully healthy attitude toward p4p and how well it can work for some people.

The author is a woman and thus part of a small minority of p4p customers, but as far as I can see, pretty much everything she says could equally well have been written by a male customer.

Nice find Ww!

Good article. I especially like this part: (attached)

I don’t get why some people are ashamed or mock others for paying because it would mean they are not capable of getting free action.
Thats kind of like saying someone can’t cook at all for going out to eat in a restaurant.
Sometimes you just don’t wanna do all the hassle of making food, and sometimes a restaurant can give you something way better than what you can cook yourself and you are not willing to endlessly try and study to get on that level. And... you don’t have to do the dishes afterwards in the restaurant!

I would not be ashamed to pay for something really hot and drama free, the catch is finding the right “restaurant” or p4p match, i suppose.

I’m so happy when people treat each other with common courtesy and dignity, regardless of whether it’s a commited relationship or not. It says a lot about what kind of person they are.

Women can speak more openly of their body image issues or insecurities, but I’m pretty sure men also do have these second thoughts. Best part of being a GFE escort is making a person feel refreshed and restored after a meet.

Oh for sure - I haven't had my shirt off in public in years! Nobody wants to see middle aged man sag!

Sex is pretty damn fun. Wife and I really don’t get the outlawing of it. It’s a service that can fill a need. We swing and also p4p. P4p there are times we are looking for something specific or a bit more kink than what’s going on. People need to get the hell out of other people’s business.

... agreed, but as a corollary the most frustrating part is when that does not happen

Well if you like a “daddy” you don’t mind a little bit of saggy skin.

Tbh, my lack of self-consciousness is so extreme that without giving it a second thought I can, say, go to an HB, strip naked and have sex with one (or more) beautiful young women in front of a room full of strangers despite being old enough to be the father (or grandfather) of anyone else present and weighing at least 30 kg more than the next biggest person there. To say nothing of wrinkles and (Gandalf the) grey hair! Nor are these the only defects in my appearance. In fact I'm not even conscious of the incongruity of the situation nor the odd/appalling spectacle (to some) until it occurs to me long afterwards. There are even (un)fortunate TAGers who have witnessed such events.

I should add that the above is relevant to this thread. One important reason (but not the only nor even main one) that I am that "comfortable in my own skin" (a weird idiom, I mean who is either comfortable or uncomfortable in someone else's skin?!) is a long history of wonderful, enriching and "healing" p4p experiences such as described in the article linked in the OP. I can hardly imagine what my life would have been like without them.

If you are among those who think I'm unreasonably or too consistently positive about p4p and supportive of SWs, perhaps the above will give you some insight as to the reasons.

That’s the spirit! I’m not perfect either but life is too short to miss out on chances whilst feeling you’re not good enough.

Wait, wait!! "Either"?? Where in hell did you get the idea that I'm anything other than perfect??? :D

"God makes no mistakes" (well, aside from failing to exist).

And with that you cannot really blame her either, I mean she doesn't exist.

In case anyone didn't know, serious people (well, they thought they were serious) have argued that God must exist because God is perfect (by definition) and not existing would be less than perfect... Seriously, people have said such things:
