We (PR holders) don’t have anything to worry aboutI cannot find any mentions about PR holders in the Japanese news. Is that something the writer of that English piece made up himself or am I missing something?

In other words: If you have a gaijin card, don't leave, you won't be invited back.
Found it. If you as a PR holder leave after tomorrow and visit any of the banned countries then "as a general rule" (原則として) you won't be allowed back.

ah ok. I thought your initial inquiry was about fear of being kicked out. But its sad anyway, I had just planned a Tokyo-Seoul-Wuhan-Milano-Paris-NYC-LA-Tokyo trip , damn!
Not just PR holders
So which countries are still OK?This is old hat folks, been watching the restricted countries fall like dominoes for several days now on airline sites. In a nutshell:

HAHA. The graveyard shift only. You know the flights you get on late at night and your realize after sitting down everyone is walking corpse just like your avatar. The ones with no flights period maybe.
We are in PRISON!
« You can check out any time you like, but you can only leave ».You can get out of Japan but not back in. I am not an expert but I don't think that's how prisons work.

I figure I'm gonna die here one way or another. Am planning a Manila trip once this dies down though. Is any one really planning on leaving?
A nuclear meltdown didn’t get me to leave, and I’m pretty sure I’m safer here than my home country。
