Ok, so I am in sort of an interesting situation. There is this woman that is renting some space to grow vegetables just outside my girlfriend's apartment, where I also live.

I often go out for walks in the morning and check out the vegetables that people are growing. Well, I noticed that this woman is always saying hello and trying to start up conversations with me. So after meeting her for the first time...literally the first 5 minute conversation with her...she told me that she wants to study English. I told her that I can teach her private English lessons. I added her on LINE and a few days later we had an hour lesson at this relaxing spot not far from the apartment. I noticed that when I cross paths with her, she is always trying to make direct eye-contact with me and smile.

I am fine with her just being a student of mine, but one problem is that recently she has been chatty with my girlfriend too. They will talk sometimes like on days that my girlfriend doesn't have work. She also added her on LINE.

Another issue is that I found out this woman is married to a Japanese guy.

Here is where I am not sure what her intentions are because even though she has a husband and she knows I have a girlfriend, she acts really flirty with me not only in person but she will send me a lot of cute LINE stamps and uses a lot of heart LINE stamps.

I know this alone might not mean anything because Japan has kawaii culture, but just surprised that she uses hearts and exclamation points a lot while chatting with me on LINE. Like if I say, let's have a lesson next Monday, she will reply like "Ok! Sounds good! I am looking forward to it!"

She could just be friendly but while in a conversation asking about hobbies, she mentioned that she likes drinking beer and I said I do too. I said that sometimes we can hangout and drink sometimes and she seemed really happy about the idea.

Last night she messaged me on LINE asking if I would like to join her and one other Japanese female friend of hers to a bar/restaurant this afternoon and I agreed to it mostly because I want to try the food and IPA sold there.

Now, is this woman just a friendly type that probably acts this way with all people/all foreigners or does it seem like she might like me?

I also am surprised that she didn't invite her husband (my girlfriend is working, so he might have work too) and that her friend that is coming is also a female.

I am trying not to read too much into this, but if one of them like me...what are some subtle signs I should be looking out for?

I am actually trying to avoid hooking up since one of them knows my girlfriend and where I live! The other one can easily found out this information from her as well!

I would greatly appreciate anyone's input on this situation.

Well, of course woman sometimes just want friendship. It is just that she has been really overly-friendly to me...like way more than most women are around me that genuinely just want to be friends, so I wanted to post about it on here.

It isn't so much the cutesy LINE stamps of hearts, etc. but more the fact that she asked me to teach her English literally the first time I met her and told her that I teach English part time. Also, she makes a lot of really direct eye contact and smiles at me a lot, which is NOT something most Japanese women do.

Anyway, I will try not to overthink it and just get drunk with them at this bar/restaurant. If one of them likes me as more than a friend and they are drunk...they might have the courage to send me some obvious hints. I will not be making any moves on them though. Let's see what happens lol.

I know about this. That is actually my main worry. Do you think there is a small chance that she might be intentionally baiting me into a situation where she can have her husband sue me?

I am not married, so I don't know if my girlfriend could sue them as well...I think that only married couples can do that. Then again, if her husband found out she was cheating as well...it would make sense that she would be in trouble too...but this is Japan, so I have no idea as I have never been in such a situation before.

No it's not. There are some scams by girls claiming their husband is going to sue so you should pay up, but I have never heard a real couple trying to pull this scam as first they would actually need to divorce to even have the option to sue for the consolation money.

I may be wrong, but I have the feeling that you are not really asking us for advice on what to do, but how to fuck your neighbor without her husband and your girlfriend finding out.
IMHO, you may have three options:
1) accept the invitation, tell your girlfriend that you go for a beer with your neighbor and a friend of her, as long as her friend is still there, you have an alibi. However, be ready for your girlfriend reaction.
2) tell your neighbor that you prefer to go another day together with your girlfriend. If you are lucky, the night can end in a threesome or even a foursome.
3) sake your dick in the bathroom fantasizing about fucking your married neighbor. This is the third option, but the the most common sense.
Moral? If any: do not approach a married neighbor woman if you do not have about 5 million yen saved in the bank and a good lawyer as a friend. Most likely, her husband is fed up with her and he is looking for a divorce because he is already fucking a young girl, but the husband has no balls to ask for a divorce, …and you will pay for it.

What I suggest , and this a a totally new way of looking at this, is get a yellow legal pad and draw a vertical line in the middle.
On the left side, at the top, write “pros” and on the right side, at the top, write “cons”.
Now , stay with me here as it gets a little complicated. What you do is write all the good things about flirting and possibly banging the married friend. This goes in the pro column.
Then you think about the bad things and list them in the cons column.
