Jiraporn is a smaller Thai massage parlor in the Shin Okubo area nearby the Ass building. It's owned and operated by Mao herself. Perhaps you recall Mao is an alumni of Asian Feeling. She bounced around a few shops before opening her own and as far as I can tell, business is BOOMING!
If the Twitter is any indication, popularity has continued to steadily word-of-mouth climb to about 300 followers in just over a year which is not much in the grand scheme of things, but she and her girls stay busy. What does any of this nonsense I written have to do with a review? Well, on an average day, they're probably too busy to see you.
More importantly, does Mao and her staff have skill? Absolutely, they are very skilled. Mao herself nowadays, I would compare to a professional physical therapist as far as skill goes. She's still really nice, quiet, polite and caring. She's really stepped up her massage game in recent years. Technically, nothing special after that massage is on the menu, so it's very important to sort of cultivate relationships with staff members to get extras. The handy is really great too. I usually have at least two of them before I go. Her girls are cute too.
The only issue lies with getting an appointment. Appointments are basically required to be serviced. Jiraporn staff are the freeist of freelancers, so it's difficult to tell who's going to be in and how long they will stay. They come and go as they please, including mama-san Mao. Open and close are different every day, the staff are different every and without talking to them, you'll never know who's going to be there, when and for how long.
Just call them and ask right? Good luck getting someone to answer! Open for business time are determined on the day, varying between 12PM to 6PM basically randomly and closing usually 10PM to last. Only way you'd know what time they'll open up is by checking the Twitter, which can still be inaccurate. Things happen like anyone, late, emergencies, so on, etc. Even during working hours, you're call will probably be ignored because they are busy.
Business is doing really well and I am happy for them. It is just really hard to get a reservation. People really like Asian Feeling, because you basically just walk in at almost any time during their working hours and someone's probably available. They do fine and you usually don't leave disappointed. Jiraporn has less staff working with a different management style so it's not particularly fair to the against each other.
For my money, Jiraporn is worth it, but this is not a walk in shop. It really requires an appointment in advance. Go to your appointment and you'll be fine. I'm not saying you'll never get in as walk in, but it's not very likely.

Again, I think that the service is good. If you can get an appointment, you'll have a relaxing time. Before you go, make sure you talk to someone on the phone and schedule an appointment. Without that, your chances of getting served are not as good.
