Recently visited a Love Hotel with more the 2 people. After we decided on the room and walked to the elevator, a Japanese women came out and talked to us. None of us understood Japanese but there seemed to be an issue with having more than 2 people in our group.

When we were checking out, the price to exit the room was more then we were expecting. Not a problem, just unexpected.

Does anyone know if there is a limit to how people you can have in the room (I assume it is different for each hotel) and if not is it common to be charged extra for additional people?

Well, two persons being the common and expected number of visitors and thus most places don't even let three people enter. Those who do will of course charge for one more.

Charging more for extra people is standard practice for hotels that will take threesomes and moresomes - they normally explain this when you check in, but as none of you could speak the language....

Some hotels accept couples only, and some even go so far as to accept hetero couples only. On the flip side, some have larger rooms and will cater to groups of a couple of dozen.

Many hotels only allow two people.
Most hotels that do allow 3p charge 50% extra for another girl. Some hotels allow 2 women with one man but not two men with one woman. Hotels that allow 2 men and one woman, often you have to pay the price of two rooms but can only use one. Same if you go with 4 people.
Bigger groups would probably need a hotel with “party rooms”.

Sometimes you don’t get charged extra for 3p but its not common.

You’re pretty lucky could even get in if you didn’t understand the talk of the when entering.

Thank you for the responses. There were only 3 in our group on this day.

Is there a way to determine which Love Hotels allows for more then the standard 2?

Up to 6 people would be ideal.
Asking for a friend of course :)

You usually can’t see it from the outside. If the place has a website you might get some wiser.
I’ve done a party in Bali An a very long time ago. They have rooms that can have 6 people but might need to call ahead. Not that cheap as well.

To find a LH for a FFM 3P is no problem. Many, probably most are fine with that. MMF is trickier. I never understood why. But you can find several in Gotanda, Shibuya and in Shinjuku, that I’m aware of. The hotel will typically add 1500 to 2000 to the standard price. But then a lady will usually knock on the door a bit later and bring an extra set of towels. No, you can’t find out from the outside. You have to ask.

airbnb would a better idea for 6 people I guess

I had a great FFM 3P at a love hotel in Yokohama once... but boy did we get in trouble when the three of us walked out after having our fun! The ladies at the front desk were not pleased at all... lots of hontou ni gomenasai's and deep bowing later, and we were free. The LH was on the way to my house from the train station, and every once in awhile I would walk past the front desk lady on my way home in the afternoon when she was walking to work. She always recognized me and threw me an evil scowl every time! But I always smiled at her... because I had a lot of fun that day :)

The various love hotel search engines will list hotels that allow more than 2 people. Here's one

In Japanese, but I think google translate will get you over the hump

Or... towards the hump ;) They have an app with reservations and coupons too :)

If you have a car, I still highly recommend AiAiHinkan just south of Yokohama. They will allow 3P and then some! https://www.hard-love.me/

Thank you. Actually we have been to location before as we enjoy going to random theme hotels (not many left since we first lived in Japan over 10 years ago).

Didn’t know that AiAiHinkan allows more than 2. Doesn’t clearly say it on their webpage.

All good tips!!

Went to this place in Kinshicho a couple of times for MMF. Big rooms with two beds and some even have two floors, one for the bed another floor for the bath. Good if you want to try having sex at the stairs.

30% extra per person.

Thank you for your suggestion, we appreciate it. The place looks great. Any idea if they would accept 4 or 6 visitors? The website did not appear to have a limit.

Wanted to comment on this as an ignorant foreigner. My wife and I had a 3p set up with a lady. Our hotel Prince Sakura was Fucken super super duper anal about guests. We talked with our provider about 3p as an alternative. Yeah no. Line up a hotel room that won’t kill your 3p vibe.

Wow, this must be a development that occurred after I left Japan. Hotels never cared about discreet guests. Maybe it’s a priority with Gaijin?

Saturday morning in the lobby of the Imperial Hotel was Prime Time for Serious Japanese Eye Candy. Mistresses, Secret Girlfriends, Girlfriends and High-End Escorts could be seen gliding gracefully through the lobby on their way to the taxi line or arranged car service.

I’ll comment about Prince Sakura. Our floor we got off there was a sign no guests. We had a Japanese lady and her son visit us for dinner. They stopped our friend and son. We had to meet them in lounge.

Obviously, lady with her child no shit going on. Prince Sakura kinda hardcore about guests in my opinion. Ritz and Hyatt could give a fuck.

The whole Prince chain is probably the most fussy, rules-based, anal-not-in-a-good-way in Japan. They should have died when the parent co went bankrupt.

The Prince Sakura sounds radically ridiculous.

Hope it's okay to bump the thread, but just wanted to add a recommendation to the list of hotels that cater for more than two people:

Last time I had a 3P we tried XO in Shinjuku, which we had used before, but they told me that the police were clamping down so they'd stopped offering the service. On that occasion we managed to use 'the hotel' or something, across the road, but the room was narrow so this time after a bit of research the above place came up. When I got there and explained I wanted a room for 4 people, all of whom would be arriving at different times, the receptionist was super helpful and the room was decent, and the price reasonable.

So in case anyone finds themselves looking for a hotel that will let them bang a cute chick with a couple of like-minded wingmen, be sure to check it out!

(The 4P was fantastic too, btw.)
