Mens relaxation rooms.

I have just moved to Tokyo and live near the Kabukicho area, witch seems fun. But i keep seeing these places for 24 hour "mens relaxation" that advertise a room and a tv. I was wondering are they just for relaxation or is this really somthing else like a love hotel or somthing? thank you

These rooms are perhaps best understood when viewed with orange goggles under fluorescent lighting in the 320nm - 510nm wavelength range. Likely more chickens choked in these rooms than at a KFC production facility.

I've never tried one before, but I wonder if you could really have a good loud jerk in one of those booths.

A Japanese friend told me he tried to sleep over in one of them once, since websites keep suggesting it as a cheap overnight option if you miss the last train.

And yeah, his neighbor was not only loud enough to keep him awake but was apparently trying out for the jerkathon and kept it up for hours.
