I was once again bored in Ikebukuro.... like I literally just discovered how much I like the area last month. Its less popular than Kabukicho and seems to have similar offerings with less of the crowds.
I was wandering down streets looking to see what the different neighborhoods had to offer when I saw a sign saying foreigners welcome - come experience Japan sub culture. Me being the curious type, I bit without knowing what they really had. I was a typical Japanese style strip theater. The girls take time doing more of a theatrical type dance vs a sexy one at first. Then it ends with the girls nude and flashing the audience. Its not that sexy, but it is entertaining to me.
It was 5000 yen to enter and had several girls on rotation. I just stayed for two performances and headed out.
