Hello TAG members! The ambiance of the happening bars seems to have declined with the coronavirus. SB/Rocinante closed yesterday. But some have moved to new locations like the new BO, and others have been opened. This is the case of Club Scarlett, which opened about two months ago in the same Shinjuku venue where BO was for many years.
The venue has been fully renovated and there is an all-you-can-drink system. They ask for a driver's license and health card. Resident foreigners who do not have a driver's license, must bring their passport, residence and health cards. Non-Japanese speakers should accompany a Japanese speaker. So it's not good for tourist because health card is requested.
According to a friend who visited CS.. The experience and vibe were far from the good times of SB and BO. Maybe it is because they have been open for a short time.
BTW. Has anyone been there?
