New, No Japanese, Need To Find A Decent Bar.

Hello all,
New to town and speak about 0 Japanese. Got sent here for work and am overwhelmed. I am looking for a bar (not a club, over that scene now) to hang that is foreigner frendly. I would like to meet some locals or whatever but my Japanese is seriously hindering my efforts. Just want some drinks, chat and a laugh. Im in Shinbashi, can anyone give me some pointers or maybe want to head out with me? I speak German too if if that somehow helps/hinders the situation...?

Local bars here are everywhere. I would suggest just wondering around and dropping in. Shimbashi is a bit too old though and with many old working (boring) men. I'd go to Shibuya, wonder around and just say hello to the local guys in small bars. That's what my friends usually do when they visit and they meet new friends.
