Hello! I'm going to Kyoto for the whole of April and was wondering about the papakatsu/sugar dating scene there.

I wanted to know an average allowance because from where I am, the average allowance has decreased significantly and so most guys would just ghost or be insulted before even meeting in person. If the same thing were to happen here I'm not too sure if I want to engage much in the scene and focus on my work instead. The people that focus on your size/weight/whatever, aren't worth your time. You will run into this, but if a man can't start a normal conversation with you, it's just going to be waste of time IMHO.

From what I understand, first-time meet-and-greets can run from 0 to 20,000 yen, more like a 10,000 yen average (Tokyo, could be slightly downward in Kansai/Kyoto area). The yen isn't worth what it once was, so you have to account for that aspect in the current markets. I'd suggest doing a pay-per-meet since you aren't here long-term. And, I'd also be cautious in not allowing someone to monopolize your time for a low fee. (ex: don't let someone occupy your entire day when they just offer 10-30,000 yen)

If you're going to accept adult activities as a part of the arrangement, you'll have to think about it in more of an escort aspect. Consider that average escorts range from 30,000 yen/hour and upwards from there.

The last female acquaintance of mine that was an active sugar baby, had some terrible trouble with men that promised to pay, but never did. You just need to determine your self-worth and what you're willing to give up for a certain range of currency/gifts.

So this one of the areas that I am active in. The three places I actively use are Paters, sugardaddy.jp and seeking. Also I don't speak or read Japanese besides just being able to introduce myself.

- Seeking most of the girls in Japan are traveling escorts. Some traveling sugar babies and very few locals. The average ask for dates range from 40k to about 100k.

-paters/sugardaddy they are very similar with paters being lower end to normal girls. Sugar daddy few higher end girls. Lots of store workers moonlighting to make extra money. They break down dating into tea or meal dates and the last dating as adults(sex dates) Tea dates are 10k meal dates are 20k on average. Dating as adults(sex dates) ranges from 30k to 100k have had one girl ask for 200k add in the meal or tea if you want to date as adults otherwise first date.

I know of an Chinese americam SB here who speaks Korean, speaks and reads Japanese. N2 level and English. She barely gets two dates a month if she's lucky and she only ask 60k for a date 80k for overnight. With her looks and personality she would easily be in the 800 plus range in the US.

Foreigner girls have to compete with local girls who are lower priced. Provide way more services. ( I had nurse who would spend the night with me for 50k). So there might be one or two guys after you but not many. The Japanese go in for the longer term arrangements versus short term arrangements.

Not sure where you're from, but in the US girls ask for a significantly higher amount than the girls in Japan. I end up spending several hundred dollars less on a girl in Japan as opposed to the girls in the states, plus if you are exchanging yen to your home currency you'll lose even more money due to how the yen is currently.

That really depends on the area of the US.
I have heard of sugar arrangements through SA for 200 dollars or so in rural areas. Even in fancy areas I heard of an SA user who offers 500 dollars as standard for 4 hours or so and has no problem getting dates. Also the US is not safe like Japan and there is no neutral ground like Love Hotels, so I can imagine girls being more comfortable to accept lower priced dates from less weird people than a big offer from some hot shot with an attitude who may arrive all coked up and carrying a gun. 😂

Kyoto is a small town, not as discreet as Tokyo. Kansai has less clientele and they tend to be more stingy and less metropolitan so it’s not ideal.
That said, there are absolutely gems to be found and it all depends on the luck of finding the right person.
