New year train extension on 2022/2023

Can't find any news regarding extensions for upcoming new year...
Not sure if I can go shrine visiting or concerts and head back to my hotel

Found this source stating that there are extensions, however the same website states that metros are closed

Anyone have any updated news regarding other lines like JR?

Trains will always go all night to a certain degree on new years.....don't worry, just head out an have good time😉

Never checked anything ....always got home somehow.

This is just Tokyo Metro, JR will still be running.

That's what I thought, but as of now JR schedule seems to be running as per usual no special extensions.
Last train around 0030 and first train around 0400.
Can't find an updated schedule if they are running later for new year

They will announce the new year schedule later

JR lines are still running during new years.
