Yes! Although regarding Europe this would pretty much reflect the "clash" between Anglo-Saxon/Nordic/Germanic culture and customs against the Latin/Mediterranean ones... this particular dichotomy can't explain the São Paulo/Rio stereotypes within Brazil, since colonization was pretty much uniform there (or the Tokyo/Osaka stereotypes within Japan, for that matter).

Generally speaking, Osaka people describe Tokyo people "too cold" "snobby" while Tokyo people think Osaka people are too nosy.
I can understand both points of view. I am originally from more Kansai region but I am comfortable to live in Tokyo now.



Osaka is fire and Tokyo is ice.
