Soon I'll be taking a short trip to Taipei. Naturally, I'm wondering about P4P there. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Actually, I've been in Taipei before, but it has been many years since my last trip.

My hotel will be relatively close to the main train station. So, I'd be especially interested in anything in the general vicinity of the station.

The last time I visited Taipei I went to a MP where I had a nice experience. I think that it was Caesarworld. If I recall correctly, the place was a bit like a Japanese onsen, but they offered CFS.

During that same trip I also went to Snake Alley. Yet, that wasn't as good. The Snake Alley experience was rushed, if memory serves me.

For the record, I'm a White dude. So, I can't pass for being local. Moreover, I only know a few words of Mandarin, but at least I can read Chinese characters to a limited extent.

The SPs don't necessarily have to be Taiwanese. They could be Mainland Chinese, Vietnamese, Thai, Filipina, etc.

Finally, does Taiwan still have those late night barber shops? Years ago I had been to nighttime barber shops in South Korea. One could get at least a HJ in such establishments. My impression is that Taiwan has (or had) something similar.

At this point, I should add that I would also be willing to try an escort. I'm assuming that my hotel will be G/F.

Any recommendation about either an escort service or an independent escort in Taipei?

This is slightly off-topic, but one of the amusing things in Taiwan is a sign at the main observatory in the skyscraper Taipei 101.

The sign has a suitably cute cartoon along with text stating “Ladies Beware” in both Chinese and English. It warns women of a mirrored floor in the area.

As I was snapping the sign (honest), a girl actually ended up in part of my picture. Not sure if that should really be called a photobomb because she sort of proved the point of the sign in the first place. LOL.

Here is a little something about the P4P scene in Taipei. No doubt this post merely scratches the surface.

On my first night in town, I wandered around the lively area near my hotel, but I soon became distraught by the relative lack of sleaziness in the neighborhood. Hence, I decided to go back to Snake Alley, which I had visited some years ago on a previous trip to Taiwan. My little snake was ready for an adventure.

You can simply ask a taxi driver to take you to the Huaxi Street Tourist Night Market (華西街觀光夜市). Be sure to have your destination written down in Traditional Chinese. Drivers normally don’t speak English. Compared to Japan, taxis in Taiwan are fairly cheap. Flag fall was only NT$70 (about 240 yen at the current exchange rate) in the taxis that I used. My drivers always turned on the meters without being asked. Receipts were available, if needed.

Chinese gates serve as the landmarks to the Huaxi Street Tourist Night Market. They reminded me of the gates in Yokohama’s Chinatown. At any rate, the parts of the street within the gates have been slightly sanitized for mainstream tourism. Hence, one reads visitor industry nonsense about the area being a “former” RLD. Fortunately, however, a short walk beyond the gates will reveal Snake Alley’s still active naughty side.

Much of the action involves places that are karaoke joints. There are also some MPs in the district, but I didn’t try them.

If you are a solo male walking around Snake Alley, you will soon become the object of professional female attention. Initially, a gal lured me into her bar, but then, despite the language barrier, she figured out that I wanted to do something other than sing. So, she calls a friend of hers. Later it appeared that she got some sort of commission out of the transaction. No mention was made of a possible 3P. No problem. I prefer to play one-on-one anyway.

So, just the friend and I ended up going to a short-time hotel for a quickie. My SP said that she was from Mainland China. The lady looked like she was over 30, but that was fine. After all, Janet Hsieh is in her 30s. Nevertheless, my SP was not quite in that league.

My SP gave me her card with a photo and Chinese characters, but I can’t find it at the moment. In addition, I can’t find the hotel’s card now. Sorry.

It was all a bit confusing, but I ended up paying her NT$2,000 (less than 7,000 yen) for CFS. Not bad, but I somehow suspect that I was charged a tourist price rather than a true local price. Also, I paid the equivalent of about a thousand yen for the hot sheets hotel, which was rather basic. Hence, I wouldn’t really call it a LH.

The neighborhood is noted for its street food. A few of the stalls serve beer. That was a welcomed sight because the Taiwanese, on average, don’t seem to drink as much as the Japanese. Snake Alley is the kind of place that Anthony Bourdain has probably filmed for one of his TV shows.

Although the experience was fun, I didn’t feel like returning to the Huaxi Street Tourist Night Market because I later contacted an independent escort who visited my hotel. That lady was a foreigner on a tour of Taiwan. Since she is not based in Taipei, I don’t think that it would make much sense to post a review of her on TAG. Let’s just say that she charged more than double what I paid at Snake Alley. However, the service was worth it.

As for the late night barber shops that I had mentioned in my first post, I only saw one potential candidate, but it was closed at the time. Maybe there was a government crackdown at some stage? Perhaps the island’s punters just prefer MPs these days?

Overall, Taiwan is OK, but I wouldn’t travel there specifically for the hobby. There are various other places in Asia that would be better for mongering. Although there are some attractive ladies in Taipei, generally speaking, women in Tokyo are more fashionable, IMHO.

Taipei is a relatively safe and clean city with some great food. The climate is warmer than Tokyo's.

Taiwan is more economically developed than most of nearby Southeast Asia. Therefore, you don’t have many of the Third World hassles associated with countries like Thailand or the Philippines. Culturally, Taiwan is basically Chinese, but one does see some Japanese influences. Finally, Taiwan is a much more open society than Mainland China.

On the ISG site the most talked about place in Taipei was Caesar's. I found a review here http://yahoo.co.jp/review-caesarworld-sauna-taipei-taiwan/?fdx_switcher=true

I went there a few years ago. basically it's like a dance super sento the baths are nice on their own. My memory is a bit foggy, but after a while of having our in the baths I was taken to a room and then an attractive Taiwan-ese lady of around 40 came to the room wearing some lingerie. I thought she looked good some I didn't consider asking for someone else but I think you can. As I remember we showered again in the room, she performed BBBJ and we had full service. Over it was man's paradise if you live in a dry country like the US, but nothing special compared to what you can find in Japan :p

Thanks to both @daytimefun and @injp for the links.

Actually, I think that I went to Caesar's on a previous trip several years ago, but any info is appreciated. Another trip to Taipei is always possible. Perhaps I'll try one of the escorts on the site that daytimefun recommended. (I ended up with an escort from a different source).

Yes, injp, it does seem that there is more naughtiness on offer in Tokyo than in Taipei. Even Singapore is probably better for Western punters. However, it has been several years since I was last in Singapore.

Be that as it may, Taiwan does have some nice stuff to do besides mongering. Taiwan can be thought of as being "China lite" for Westerners. Of course, one could also call Hong Kong "China lite."

Finally, I agree with injp that the US is generally not good for P4P. Ironically, when I'm in the states, I often end up in AMPs.

During my visits to Taipei I use wechat....plenty of (semi-) professionals respind within minutes, good services, low prices

Great info @SugoiBoy.

As much as I want to start a thread, I believe I'll just continue this one.

I'm looking at a short trip to Taiwan in a week or two from Singapore on the way back to Japan.

All business of course but I always try to squeeze in a bit of fun on the side.

Have you ever heard of any reliable outcall services or perhaps any indie ladies that's based in Taiwan?

All the websites are very shady and I'm not trying to browse through apps during or in-between meetings since its going to be hectic during daylight hours.

I've seen an ad for an Indie provider from Taipei but she's not really my cup of tea... I've read of Russians but its just too good to be true.

Trying my luck and hopefully I can share some info when I get back.

Oh boy, a thread I can finally comment on.

To be honest, I really don't like P4P in Taipei at all. Crackdowns have been more apparent these days which means being barred from going to a lot of places as a local. From what I've read of other people's experiences, there's so many stories of fake pictures, people getting busted for bringing a girl back, and even escort agencies ratting a customer out after they found out he ditched them in favor of a different agency. It's just fucked. The best luck I've had was going on backpage and very carefully screening traveling independents that arrive. Even so, when I walked into the hotel to meet the girl, I was barraged with a fuck load of questions from the front desk asking what I was doing there in Chinese and if I didn't have a quick enough tongue and good enough Chinese, things could've potentially gone south. Though I really don't understand why you would go this route. Some traveling independents on backpage will charge around $500 an hour without any websites any reviews published nothing. I don't understand. I have nothing against escorts who charge that much who have built up a reputation, but asking for that much when there's the chance to get busted, fake pictures, etc is nuts. I feel Tokyo is much better value for what you get. There just isn't much of a market for traveling escorts for foreigners when they can go to Tokyo, Hong Kong, etc. It's a shame really...

Wel thats a shame... Now i'm even more hesitant. There's so much grey area that its difficult to navigate your way around playing the scene. I understand that its an enterprise but they should learn from Thailand, Hong Kong, Macau and especially Japan.

We'll see how this trip will go and more will follow. I dont mind taking one for the team and I have sufficient play money to try anything on their menu. I just hope that I find an verified indie first rather than going through an iffy agency.

Thanks for the input mate

Based on my limited experience with the island, Taiwan is a bit harder to figure out than certain other parts of Asia.

For example, Singapore should be easier for you although admittedly it has been a while since I was last in Singapore.

I find Taipei a bit blah so far with my research. Theres a lot PRC girls and a handful of Filipinas... thats it. I may have to skip this one and spend my money on those Singapore Slings.

I am in Taipei now. Is there a problem to call Escorts to my own Hotel room? I need a guide reply as will be leaving tomorrow.
I never tried Escort service earlier. This is my first time.
I contacted couple of girls from taipei.backpage.com

I'm off to Taipei tomorrow and have been doing loads of P4P research... Seems that it is still a "crap-shoot" as far as being able to book a indie. I've sent e-mails and LINE chats with no answers at all. Of course there are the places you mention like Ceasers etc. but that's not really my cup of tea... (no pun intended)... If there is success, then I will follow up with a report and details. Some of the other mongering sites have data that is 5 yrs old and that's not reliable anymore. Agencies seem to use fake photos and even the agencies seem to copy the same pics for their ads. Fingers crossed and will let you know updated information upon my return...

yeah..seems that there either is not much action in taipei or no one wants to talk about it. I was looking into Taipei as well since I go there more often but I can't find any recent posts anywhere about it, and the ads all look companies with generic girl pics that I don't trust.

The Taiwan P4P scene is much more underground compared to other parts of Asia. Basically as a foreigner visiting Taiwan you can only get the rather unattractive women (age 35+ and definitely not beautiful) from China, Philippines and Vietnam. All the beauties that are not Taiwanese work in China because they can earn more there. There is no reason for them to come to Taiwan.

However, there are extremely gorgeous Taiwanese women who work in "special KTVs" where only locals can get you in and it is really fucking expensive to take one of those girls to your hotel.

I can also guarantee you that ALL the pictures you find online or in chat apps like WeChat and Line that show the girls face are fake. You will not see the same girl when she knocks on your door. Lots of bait and switch. On top of that, you have to build up a relationship will those service providers until they trust you, only then will they send you quality girls. That means the first time you contact a provider they will send you a rather unattractive girl to see if you can be trusted and don't work for the police. After a few times then they might send you a better one.

All in all you can say that Taiwan's P4P scene really sucks and is way to expensive. If you don't have a local Taiwanese friend who can guide you, don't waste your time and money. Book a flight to Thailand or Japan instead.

If you still want to try I recommend first reading on forums like
