Hey all,

I remember back when UCLA Bear was open in Ikebukuro it was easy to get in with little Japanese and being foreigner. Does anyone know if there are similar type places in Shinjuku area preferably with cosplay options that are foreigner friendly?

bummer, I wonder why nothing similar is around anymore. Seems like FS requires really a soap in tokyo or escort nowadays.

Well, I can only speak for myself, but I don't know ucla bear and therefore wouldn't know what is similar. I follow this board since a few years, so I can only guess the place is gone since quite some time, so maybe adding some more description as what you are looking for would open up the question for a broader audience.

I believe UCLA little bear was incall health shop? Under the current law, you cannot open new incall health shop. That's the main reason why delivery health business has spread out all over Japan quickly which girls are not very happy with.
We used to have man-heru (Mansion health, each girl wait for client in her room at regular mansion / apartment where shop rents.) and hote-heru ( you are expected to visit their office, choose girl and pay at the office, check in a nearby love hotel and wait for a girl to show up) but no more Manheru, eventually hako-heru ( incall shop) hote-heru and sopaland will be gone.
This is the list of incall shops in Kabukicho. You have to call them and ask their condition with foreigners.

Thank you for the link, @Manami TMK . Mind sharing why "girls are not very happy with" the growing DH business? Competition? Working conditions?

I have some good memories at UCLA bear. It was basically a fashion health that provides services on sight. I think each room had its own shower. The providers were usually young, energetic, and cute. As with most health, finish was by Sumata or bbbj/cbbj. Some of the girls provided FS if you were a regular customer.

I believe that Heisei Jogakuen 池袋女学園 in the same building is a similar concept. The girls dress in school uniforms. I remember seeing a couple of reviews on here in the past so should be gaijin friendly. Here is a link to the shop.

Safety condition. Each play room at Hakoheru has an emergency button to push if something happens with troublesome customer. Shop staffs always stay at the reception so they can come save them quickly.

Yes, plus delivery health takes up traveling time. My lazy ass would be quite happy doing incall somewhere, lol.

Yes, the shop manager of hoteheru I used to work at always complains deriheru is not as profitable as hoteheru by far because of the traveling time.
The shop is based Ikebukuro east.
One of my repeats wanted to use a love hotel in west Ikebukuro as the choice of hotels in east area is not good; I totally agree, even offered taxi fee but they rejected his request to save my less than 10 minutes of extra traveling time....

Thanks for the feedback that helps a lot. I'm assuming most of those shops are not foreigner friendly. I think the UCLA bear location became the ikebukuro mxy location. I tried once and got the x gesture. Wasn't sure if they were closed or sensed the foreigner in me.
