Is it safe to meet independent in-call escorts in this part of the city? Just wanna make sure I don’t get mugged or worse

Kabukicho has a bad rap, but it's not as unsafe as you seem to think it is, espcially during the day time.
The more pressing concerns you should have is trying to meet her at an APA hotel, which is a business hotel chain.

Are you staying in a room designated as a double or twin? If not, the person at the front desk will probably stop you if you
try to bring in someone through the lobby and onto the elevator. Business hotels are really anal about getting paid for the number of
people who use the room. It's pretty obvious that you are paying for sex if you have a single room and are taking a woman up,
so they might tell you not to be bringing in any guests or to pay the charge for having one.

Do note that this is ONLY if the front desk is checking for such things and even has the time to do so. Some business hotels like
the Shinjuku Washington Hotel or the Haneda Inn have front desks located in areas where it is impossible for them to check who
is going into the rooms. At these places, I have done P4P before with no issues. I don't know about the APA hotel in Kabukicho,
but you might want to check first.

The safest bet would be to meet her outside and use one of the many love hotels located in the area. Hotel XO is nice and only charges
3,500yen for a short stay, so why risk yourself being flagged by the hotel desk?

It’s an in-call, and she says I’m supposed to meet her at the hotel. I’m probably gonna be asked to pay for a room, aren’t I? I doubt she has her own room

Not necessarily, if she’s travelling she may have already booked the room for herself. Thats really something you should clarify with her in advance.

Alright will do.

Thanks for the answers, you guys. You’re lifesavers

I bet she’s a visiting provider and staying at the hotel. Many providers are staying at APAs in Kabukicho, Akasaka, and Roppongi. A local provider would never suggest an APA, with all the more convenient LHs around. Some APAs require a room card for the elevator, but not all.

I guess that does make complete sense. Thanks, bro

Apa hotels have tiny rooms and even smaller shower rooms. If that where she is hosting incall then I'd presume she (he) is a very low end operator.

And dude....
Your name is kinda offensive. Maybe you should think about changing it (I'm sure @TAG Manager would be happy to)

So it’s probably best to look for better ones, huh? Thanks for the tip, bro.

Btw, I already requested for an id change. Thanks man

Yep, most of these girls or ladyboys are from Philippines, Vietnam or Korea. They stay at APAs all over the city and ask you to sneak in to the elevator when someone with a card is using it.

As said the APA hotel rooms, beds and bathrooms are tiny, they only provide one towel for a single room and all in all you can find much better offerings from the ladies who stay long term here.

So I’m gonna have to put in effort, huh? IT’s a good thing I asked first. Really helpful

If it's in-call, all the warnings I posted apply to you. If you try to sneak into the elevator, the front desk might stop you and ask you who are and what room you're staying in. The worst they can do is tell you to get out, but I'd confirm with the provider first. At least ask if she can meet you in the lobby and escort you up to her room.

I personally would just offer for her to meet me at a neayby love hotel. Business hotels in Japan are tiny and not ideal for hot sex. If you're a naughty couple, maybe, but if I'm shelling out some good money for GFE I'd a least want to be able to have us be able to both fit on the bed.

Those girls have done it before, you don't have to pay the room and i don't think sneaking in is generally too difficult.

But like the others said, the rooms are not charming.

Where do people get these ideas??? Is this just a carry-over fear from other cities? The worst thing that's ever happened to me in Kabukicho is getting harassed by girls or a drunk dude. This is 12 years of spending a large chunk of my life in that area... I wouldn't want to lose my wallet there, but unless you're careless, you should be fine. DON'T FOLLOW THE TOUTS ON THE STREET. :cautious:

And yeah, to echo others, if you're going to meet at escort at one of the APA hotels - the general rule is to sneak into the elevator hall when the door is open and then you go up with no problem.

Our only real recommendation is to carry as little as possible. If you're carrying a bag, just leave it in a coin locker at the station or nearby. Carry what you absolutely need and nothing more. This is because A) the rooms are TINY. and B) It further reduces your fear or risk of leaving something behind.

Like TAG Manager mentioned, the APA Hotel in Shinjuku Kabukicho (the one next to Hotel Gracery Shinjuku) has the elevators near the sliding doors. The check in/out counters are further back in the lobby so it should be almost always be okay. I don't know if any escort has ever been stopped at that lobby. However, as with any APA Hotel, you need the hotel room card to activate the elvators so you would have to meet the escort downstairs. I doubt the staff know which floor you are staying at so you can proably meet her just outside the hotel and go in together. That hotel has so many tourists.

On the other hand, there are like at least 3 (or more) APA hotels in just the Kabukicho area LOL.

I didn’t push through with it anymore. You guys have been major lifesavers. You have my endless thanks

Yeah, as a tall guy, I don’t think it’d fit my tastes. Thanks!

Yeah, well, it carries over from where I came from. Sorry. Been living a life wherein everyone has to watch their backs even when you’re near police stations or whatever.

Thanks for the tip, bro. Really do appreciate it

I’ll keep that in mind in case someone I know would ever ask me about it. Thanks, bro!

Just wanted to chime in from personal experience - I've had about 20 encounters at Shinjuku APA in Kabukicho. It's always been completely safe for me. It's located close to TOHO cinemas, which is my opinion makes it safer and more discreet since you blend in with most of the other foreigners until you step into the hotel.

This is my experience - the providers who are willing to come down and take you upstairs with them, are the ones that look exactly like their photos. No bait and switch, nothing you need to worry about. I've had about 5~6 encounters where the provider didn't come down and when I went to the room 3 were bait-and-switch or transgender (which doesn't float my boat).

But as far as the staff are concerned, I've never been stopped by any of the APAs for sneaking in because the elevators in most cases are located before the front desk or to the side (Except for Roppongi I-chome's APA) if I'm remember correctly.

Also, an FYI, I skimmed through your post and saw that you are concerned that you may have to pay for the room - usually most of these escorts are doubling with others to share the cost of the room, so the other provider vacates the room during your session and then comes back.I've never been asked to pay for the room.

Does this mean that rooms are not cleaned (sheets changed) between customers?
Yuk yuk yuk!

Most definitely that my dear sir. On top of that you get to share the wet towel left behind by all the guys who visited before you.

@TravellingNanpa :

  • Kabukicho must be the world’s safest red-light district, by day and by night.
  • Nothing will happen to you, unless you fall for a scam. It will empty your wallet, give you a good schooling for the rest of your life, but you will live.
  • The APA Kabukicho Tower is in a quiet part of Kabukicho. A police box is right across the road.
  • The APA is a favorite working place for traveling escorts, and, as mentioned above, for ladyboys.
  • She/he will meet you in the lobby, and take you up in the elevator. Nobody will bother you. The hotel knows what’s going on, and, unless there is a major scandal, they will not disrupt a steady business.
  • You will not pay for the room.
  • Yes, the sheets, and possibly the towels, will be used.

@RIDER 00 , you quite obviously have never been at the APA

@Rusty Trombone , why is his name offensive? He made a good decision, gave up on the vagaries of nampa, and decided to opt for the straight-forward transaction. Probably has been brainwashed, and told how dangerous it is. It ain't.

That part is incorrect - at least the girls that I spoke to who do incall, usually get extra towels ahead of time. No need to reuse towels.

It’s possible that it could happen, but at least I understood that they keep fresh towels.
(Or hey, bring your own.)
