So here's the story. I've had a lot of good prior experiences with delivery health at my apartment and hotel while visiting Kyoto and Osaka but I was getting kind of bored of the same girl I usually order to my apartment so I wanted to try something new. One hour passes so I don't know what the deal is so I call them again. The phone operator says he'll call the driver to get ready. I'm like "My guy you're telling them to get ready now?!?!" But okay fine they get a pass. Meanwhile, I get suspicious so I research the delivery health company and find out they're based around the Shinjuku to Kabukicho area and I live about an hour or so drive away from there so I'm like "Okay they can get a pass."
One more hour passes and I'm physically seething. I've been killing time with brain-rot YouTube Shorts so I'm at my breaking point. I give them another call. The guy says one more hour and I'm just like so done with this service and asked if they've canceled it and are indirectly trying to tell me that. My Japanese here is a bit hard to understand so he asks if I want to cancel the service now. I'm in too deep at this point so I say "Can you still deliver?" in Japanese and the guy says yes.
One more hour passes and NOTHING. I call for the 3rd time or so absolutely malding and the phone operator finally guarantees a time in one more hour. But at this point, I'm heavily skeptical because of all the prior delays. If this didn't pan out, I'd straight up cancel and call off the whole thing. Other places can accept my money.
Come one hour the girl actually comes! My apartment has a camera at the building door and a screen for me in my room to see who's there before letting them into the main complex of the building so I see the driver and the girl. Now what's strange is the girl looks kinda off with unkept hair but the screen is blurry so I just see matching black hair and general fashion style to the girl in the photograph I ordered earlier. The next strange thing is the driver paging my room. He has the Akihabara skinny Otaku build which I think is strange. My prior delivery health experiences had the driver be somewhat intimidating or somewhat well-built for good reason. In case the girls are in trouble and they need to intervene. So some red flags were blaring in my system already but I let them in.
A few minutes later the skinny driver knocks on my door before the girl is in my direct view which is kinda sketchy but this has happened before so I'm not too suspicious yet. But what's strange is how the guy asks me to pay him first before I see the girl with my own eyes and not through my apartment's intercom screen. So weird man. This is a first for me at this point. In hindsight not the best idea. But I'm only done 3-4 delivery health services before so maybe this is a rare case. I pay the guy 14,000 yen and he leaves.
3 minutes later the girl comes knocking and I open the door.

It's better to cut my losses and just go through with the service. The worst part was she had some sketchy smell which kinda stank up my apartment. Even worse the shower service. For better or for worse she said we take the shower individually meaning that I take the shower by myself and she takes it by herself. Kind of glad that was the case for this woman but in delivery health services they usually do it with you. She asked to do the whole deed on my bed and I'm bullshitting so hard by saying I still have to clean it and that it's dirty AF. Like damn I didn't even know girls like her even existed in Tokyo before I used this service. I've never seen someone that atrocious EVER my whole time in this densely packed urbanized area.
