Somes friends told me to try the soapland.
I read many of forums threads but it's hard to go when you don't speak japanese.
I'm in japan since 2 and an hal week, but I'm going away in 5 days and i would realy enjoy to try this adventure. My hotel is in Asakusa near to Yoshiwara. Should i just go, walk and see ? Or it's better to do some reseervation/specific soaplands ? I would prefere a japanese.
How much money should i take for a whole experience and can i pay by cash ?

If you don't speak Japanese, it's unlikely that you'll be able to make a reservation in person or on the phone, and going all the way out to Yoshiwara in person just to make a reservation for the next day doesn't make a lot of sense, honestly. There's some soaplands listed here that will take your reservation online in English, but you don't get to pick the girl by name:

I tried yoshiwara, i was walking down the street and was arested 8 times to go in the soapland. This road is totaly gaijin friendly so don't be shy and try

They pulled a stunt here a few years ago, came in bad mouthing other agencies and promoting their own site. It was similar to the more recent incident but less heated. Search out 'supergaijin' -- that was the first one to appear IIRC.

I found with just a very small amount of Japanese you can get into the Soapland in yoshiwara, in fact you don't need to make an appointment you just have to show up. There are places that are very expensive there and they charge an additional price for foreigners, but you can get around places like that. There is a Soapland called 000ku that charges 12000 they have a website ???????? ????, they have a map that will help you find it. The ladies are older here but they are very foreigner friendly.
