Yep... without a doubt. In fact you may not even need the "soft"

Some guys like the PS, others like the soapies. Some guys who can afford it like SD.
While, esp in Japan, the SB doesn't view herself as being in the SW industry as such, if there was no transaction (money / presents/ rent payments) taking place, then the 2 people would not be meeting.

In my very limited experience, SD offers me the chance to hang out with a lovely young lady, have great dinners with someone when I'd otherwise be eating alone, and have over night dates with no clock to watch.
