For anyone traveling to Thailand since May, is it still mandatory to stay at a SHA plus hotel? Some of the government sites say it’s a requirement, while others don’t. What did you do?

Definitely isn't mandatory. I was there the first ten days of June, straight from the airport to my hotel, and a pretty masseuse was knocking on my door 15 minutes later.

Edit: And colour me surprised, she didn't even make a pretense at giving a massage.
