Sigh... I dunno why but I have feel incredible sympathy for providers who have no choice but to enter the industry. For the first time(can't really say that as my experience is minimal compared to more experience vets), I actually felt sorry and guilty for using a service. I know people are going to call me naive and stupid but I'm just extremely sympathetic to people like that. It's just the way I am.

The girl was young, less than 20 and we basically chatted until the time was over and we both sat there wondering what to do. I didn't really want to force the issue because I really enjoyed the conversation we had and it really felt really sincere and not faked. Nothing was scripted and we talked about about a whole bunch of things. I could see in her eyes that she didn't want to do anything(along with a few other hints and the fact that she asked a few times if talking only was just okay) and I was so close to just saying you know what forget it. I'll just take it that I lost some cash. However it was no small amount(at least to me) and I was kinda horny back then. She then took the initiative and said lets do it quickly to which I first asked if it was really okay as it was pass the set time. We quickly settled the service in about 10 mins and she kept apologizing to me. At this point I also felt bad and I'm thinking... Damn I should have just let it go. She probably sees me in a less positive light and while I don't really care, I just can't help but feel like I would've made her day a little better by doing so. It was extremly late then. Btw, reason why I'm saying she doesn't want to do it is cos firstly it's just a handjob shop and she doesn't really allow for many extra options. She also only started last month.

To make matters worse, when we left the rental room and she was on her way back to the shop(I was walking behind her), she got harassed by one of the many African touts(why would they even do that?) and my heart just broke. I swear i wanted to go up and try to stave him off but that would be asking for a death wish.

Damn, now I feel like I shouldn't have done anything and just let her go. Would've made me feel better now even though I would have lost the money. Some how it would've make me feel like I've done a charitable deed. Arghhh... Why!!!?? Makes me feel like nominating her again for a shorter session and just say you know what, let's just talk but I won't be around in Tokyo anymore the next time she is available.

Btw, I'm not going to do a review on her as I don't really feel like doing so and I'll do another review on another girl I recommend instead. I really don't know how I'm gonna sleep tonight. Maybe she was just acting and playing the victim card, I'll never really know but I'm the type of person who prefers to trust then to be a skeptic. I also know that she could've easily chosen another profession of work if she needed money but again, I don't really know her history and background so I can't judge her.

Actually not. I'm hardly imposing but I shoo them away from my companion(s) of the evening (and sometimes other people) routinely. If you just speak to them sternly they back 0ff. The reason, I suppose, is that they know that the police would love nothing more than an excuse to arrest them and have them deported (any sort of altercation would be reason enough) and that they have nothing to gain by getting physical with you.

Those African parasites are cowards they probably wouldn't dare do anything unless there was a gang of them and you are behind closed doors. Can the Japanese even deport them? I've read that they have problems because the Nigerian government accuses them of racism and makes things difficult. Plus they are parasites so they latch on and find tons of loopholes like marrying desperate fat women and having kids with them so legally it's tough to get rid of them. They seem to get away with strong arming tourists into their scams easy enough.

As for this girl people have a ton of reasons to get involved in this kind of thing and you seem like you are reading between the lines too much because you saw her as young (Girls in this business lie about their age all the time). The reality is you paid a lot of money to sit and chat to somebody while you are paying for their time and you are within rights to use that time however you want to it's probably not best to fall into a trap of feeling sorry for them. I've seen it a few times where guys have had a bit of a hero complex where they feel like they want to "save" them from what they are doing because of their own fantasy that they were somehow forced into this life. The reality could also be that she was being lazy and since you gave an inch she took a mile and got a free pay day even if she did ask if that was okay and was willing to provide what you paid for.

Maybe I'm being a hard ass but if I met a student who was working as a waitress because she needed the money to pay for her fees or something and she hated her job I wouldn't be like "Oh don't worry just sit here and chat I'll clear this table for you and still give you a $500 tip because I feel bad for you". People just think differently when it comes to sex and maybe pre conceived ideas on sex workers. Personally prefer to judge a job as a job and I expect to get the service I am paying for.

I agree with the first sentence above and have no info on whether or not they are difficult to deport for the reasons you mention. I have heard it said that some of them get deported from time to time, but it was at the rumor level. Anyway, they are not dangerous on the street and are easy to chase away in various ways, especially with threats of involving the police. A few times, just for yucks and when I had nothing better to do, I have told one of them that I'd be glad to go with him wherever he wants to take me if he would first be so good as to make a stop at the koban with me in order to ask the nice police officer for his opinion of the plan! This gambit reliably produces a curse or a laugh and a view of their back as they walk rapidly away.

I've never met an African anywhere in the world that wasn't running some sort of scam so not surprised that they quickly run off at the thought of anyone talking to the Police. A couple of my friends who went out there recently said some Africans were running a shop in Harajuku and got abusive when they wouldn't go inside like can't these people just behave in a normal way and run an honest business lol. Not that I imagine many people do go anywhere near their shop because they have such a reputation for selling knock off goods around the world.

Who knows if they do manage to deport any their own countries probably don't want them back anyway if they are criminals and for each one they do manage to deport 10 more will show up with connections to the same groups so they can just replace anyone that does get deported.

That certainly is not my situation. I have met some fine people from Africa and count some as friends. My comments were about the Tokyo street touts from Africa and elsewhere for that matter.

Fixed that for you.

General rule of thumb, anywhere in the world - if a place needs street hustlers to go out and find customers, it's not worth going to.

Yep.

Even more general rule of thumb, anywhere in the world - If someone is trying really really hard and aggressively to sell you something and it sounds absolutely wonderful and perfect and a great deal etc, it almost certainly isn't very good at all and is quite likely to be a scam of some sort.

That's an absolutely true jewel of wisdom. I wish I had come up with it!

I totally know how you felt because I had the same thing happen to me with a provider the third time I tried P4P back in June. She was about 19 or 20 and she was scared to be doing what she was doing. From what I gathered she was new at the job and I was her first foreigner. We spent the entire time talking and watching a movie on my tablet. She really was a sweet girl and I don't know what circumstances necessitated her going into this line of work, but I hope she was able to figure out if she was really cut out for Delivery Health.

Sorry for the off-topic but i really think you should try to travel some more...

I suppose that was pretty unfair but places I've been my experience of Africans has always been hustlers, gangs etc. If I worked for a company that did business in Africa I imagine my perception would be quite different since the type of people I would meet would be professionals and people who have money.

I kinda love african touts, it's the closest thing to NPC in video games.

As for the lady, I think her fear/uncomfort brings awkwardness in her sessions, which brings even more uncertainty and curious reactions (especially when money is involved).
Despite some morality questions, it's certainly better for everyone to go on smoothly as planned, or having a refund right away.
Counting on semi-complete sessions on her side is too defensive and not reasonable/enjoyable on the long term.
You may of course feel sorry for her, this is a legitimate feeling.. but don't get overwhelmed by it because I already met a girl who partially scammed me (full price, less time and action, and a sad little story in the background). Just saying

Hi, Shibaken, I just feel as you feel. Usually I will tip the girls a few thousands Yen. People are born inequal when it comes to material, but we cannot do anything about this.

No rhetoric, but I'm just curious about why the "she has to be an escort because she needs money" is different from "she has to be a waitress because she needs money" from your moral perspective.
Why giving money to the first make you feel guilty and not the second ?

Lots of people are miserable at their job, and I would say for my one escort I saw, she seemed way more fulfilled and happy about her job than most of my friend in my country were for their jobs.

It might seems harsh, but think about it, how would you have felt if she was a cashier or a waitress ? Would you have been pissed off by poor service ? or would you feel guilty to go at the restaurant ?
