I have also heard of these services providing "alibi services" or the girls do it independently themselves as well. I heard these are somewhat legal (as long as they don't provide fake IDs, passports or counterfeit money) and these alibi services provide fake certificate of employment for tax purposes and to provide these girls proof to their families that they have a stable income and job security.

You'll find that kind of thing mainly with Soaplands/Yoshiwara. It does exist in other various corners, but I'd say that it's not present at either AM or ND. Some of these ladies have a full family and they apparently have no clue about what they do.

Not just in soaplands but in delivery health, fashion health, and hotel health as well. I have seen a documentary on it and one of the girl's at Happy Berry told me about them and that Happy Berry helps them to an alibi service. I heard that some hostesses use them as well.

Yep, that's what I meant about 'various other corners'. :) There's a couple of services that provide documents to either girls directly or to the shops they work for, on a contract.

Some are more concerned about the 'legality' of a service than others.

In all honestly, it doesn't really matter until something happens. (which, hasn't.... except for those random unregistered shops that get raided from time to time.)

I'm not a long-termed-but still having participated a good bit- my impression is that in Japsn it's all about maintaining "face." If you don't make a scene/fuss, the authorities won't get concerned.

Still many more guys are more knowledgable. It's just my impressions after a few 6-8 month stays.
