Thinking which to choose

I am a guy that comes to Japan once every 3 weeks.
Kind of tired of looking for chicks at the bar and clubs.
Hostess bar is just waste of time and money so I was thinking of trying out the dating clubs in Japan.
I searched the web and found Versailles and Universe Club.
Seems like Universe Club has allot of review here but don't see any for the Versailles one.
Does anyone know how that place is?

Tried out SA and AM but did not have much good experience there...

I have never heard of Versailles.

There are many date clubs and it’s convenient for some people.

Are you actually Japanese like your usersname or is that some kind of inside joke? Can you speak any Japanese?

I dont know of other date clubs that have English support other than UC

I am a second generation Japanese so born and raised in the states.
I speak really basic Japanese to get around but not fluent...

You think UC is good?
Seems like their a big organisation...

Its fine. UC is probably the most foreigner friendly and they have many girls.
Expect some communication problems with your girl though whichever club you choose (except if the girl is not Japanese).
Even UC, some of the girls who are interested in meeting men from overseas dont really speak perfect English.

Haha. Yeah not many guns here afaik and i’ve personally never encountered violence though sugaring or regular p4p clients.
SA is okayish. Others here have written about their experiences. It has both Japanese and foreign girls, maybe even more well known by foreign girls. Though many of them don’t stay in the country long term so could be difficult if you want a multiple years relationship. Japanese girls also though GND type mostly from what i’ve heard. Date club may have more stunning girls but its the question if they can communicate or not.
I’ve been on SA for a bit but don’t use it anymore since the site is a bit annoying to use and it does take a lot of exchanging messages to come to an agreement and its usually not worth it. Prepare for girls to flake or to do other amateurish stuff as well.

I was posting my ad on a listing, and the listing had the ad for “club Versailles”

It’s apparently some sort of date club. It claims to feature “high class” ladies such as models, idols.. and has different categories with different price points. Of course there’s the obvious question: What exactly is “high class”?

I googled the club in Japanese and found reviews (in Japanese)

I know I am coming late to this "post" but thought I would add a couple of comments about UC:
1. It used to have a more "escort" vibe to it, but they got all nervous about not being an escort site and changed how they do things.
2. Since this change, most of the girls added are in the A - C category (meaning Dinner Only up to Depends on Chemistry) "D" means DTF if you can cover her "Room" fee...
3. As for their classification "Class": Standard, Gold, Platinum, & Black... I have no idea on how they (or the girl) pick this one... but to me it seems a bit random (unless the girl is Kawaii 19 yr old)
4. I think the Class for Dinner Only is absurd... Why pay 50,000JPY for setting up a date just for dinner.... OK, if you are rolling in the Benjamin's then so be it, but it's just off-putting to me. I even mentioned it to my "concierge" ... It's only dinner, so what gives ? They didn't have a answer for me.
5. As for the English thing. I also mentioned if the girl claims conversational level then there should be a vdo of her speaking English..but they are hard to find.
6. It is convenient for the traveler and if you are not in the bar/club scene for pick ups.
7. as @User#8628 mentioned there are some flakes... I had one Flake on me in Osaka...

My experience has been so so... 1 girl was amazing and we had a great time, but she left the club and moved on... My last experience with them... went on the date, which was afternoon tea, then had made dinner reservations, gave the girl 20,000JPY for her transportation usually they want 10,000JPY... she said she could not go to dinner apologized and said let's meet up again, but ghosted me. She said she was conversational level, but ....... Anyway... I know others who have good success...

I was a bit put off on the hard sell to upgrade to Black Class... although you do get access to a lounge in Ebisu where you can hang out... could be worth it... the set up fees are higher on this level, and based on my last date - which is now a Black level has me questioning is that even worth it.

I haven't given up on UC just yet... been to busy traveling to set up other meetings.. I'm thinking of trying a different strategy with them...

Anyway... sorry for late post and a bit of "ranting"...

Perhaps no longer true, but a few years back before the changes @BB0523 mentions, an SD could get a first sugar date via UC much more efficiently (took a lot less time and effort) and with a significantly better chance of it being a good match than via SA. So, the better choice depended on whether you had more money or more time to spare back then.

SA requires too much time to sort through the rubbish.. IMO, My time is valuable to me to waste so much of it. I don't mind the UC system per se, it's the lack of quality control or maybe expectations they are setting for the girls... I have not seen anything on SA that has even made me want to pay the fee.... UC I know are real girls at least... but I think they believe they can be SB without the Sugar so to speak... want guys to take them to restaurants they normally would not be able to enjoy and drink champagne because that makes them feel "special" then at the end of dinner, suddenly have to go meet a sick friend/mother/cat... what have you... It seems to me to be moving away from the legitimate UC is used to be and more like just a money collection service where the dude pays and gets nothing but a dinner date with a bit of a immature girl who says she has conversational English, only to not be able to speak so well... OK not 100% of them like this for sure and my sample size is not so big... maybe 8 dates total over the past couple years... I know @Wwanderer has had great experience with UC and I have as well, but recently... MEH....

I think the TV series Popa Kosei gives watered down version of what Sugar Babe should be and over splashed on the Sugar Daddy's willingness to splash cash like he has a printing machine

Anyway.... as @Wwanderer it's about efficient use of time for a fee rather than spending too much time sorting/searching on SA... IMO
