Time limits for references?

I've been surfing switter and noticed many providers try to find ways to make sure they are safe, and that they are meeting quality clients. Some ask for p411 verification (which you can't get anymore for some reason). Others ask for 2 references from providers that you have seen in the last 6 months. Others ask for either or What gives? While I know many of the men here play fairly often. I do not. It is not a driving desire, but sometimes I need to get away from the grind and implant myself into a fantasy. I may never play often enough to get 2 indie provider references within a 6 month period. Seems like some providers are leaving money on the table. Why 6 months? Why not a year?

Well I guess they're only looking for real playas...:cool:

From the perspective of escorting in the US, i think it pays to be super cautious.

Also it does seem hard finding quality indies out of Japan without risking personal info in some way or another.

Its weird how safe this job in Japan is, either with local or foreign clients.
I saw some comment on the internet recently about the new law stating that “sexwork is very risky wherever you do it and people should be discouraged of doing it”. I do believe that for most countries, wether legal or not, there is trouble once in a while. But Japan is about the safest place to do it i would say. Foreigners here are usually polite and educated people and are not looking for trouble with the police here. Japanese people are not violent, i believe.
Don’t get me wrong, i have had my fair share of ill intentioned tricks.
Guys have stolen money from me when i turned my back on it, poked holes in condoms, put their phone somewhere facing the bed with the recording function on, send me to a meeting point and now shown up, insulted me in messages... but no client has ever gotten violent with me at all.

In other countries however, i believe asking for references in reasonable based on stories.

I also dont understand why those references need to be recent though. Because the think the girls may not remember the customer maybe?

Ah yes, that's a possible reason too i guess. I was initially thinking the requirement was because they preferred clients who were more experienced and mongered frequently ("playas"). After all, how much do people really change in 6 months Lol.
(when I applied for a job, they did want a reference letter from within last 3 months though.)

Most of the ones looking for these kinds of references were definitely state based.

I'd guess that they seek to do something mean and harmful to another person, perhaps specifically to an escort and/or a sexy woman, because it gives them some sort of thrill or satisfaction. In other words, it is because the guy is that kind of "sicko".

I've been with p4p ladies that were really paranoid about using condoms I brought and insisted on the LH-supplied ones, which ironically put them at a higher risk for breakage vs the properly fitting ones I brought.

I have to agree. If a guy schedules to meet the gal at the love hotel and he's there first and has her come up to the room (like many p4p services in japan opperate). All he has to do is spend 2 minutes poking holes through the package with a pin prior to the woman arriving. Then keep the lights on low so she doesn't know. 2) What prevents a man or woman from going into a LH with someone, using the condoms they brought for themselves and then after the fact poking holes in the LHS condoms so that the next person who comes in and uses them has one of them break on them.

Best way is for the p4p gal to bring her own, that is the only way for her to know she's safe. However then you have to carry multiple sizes because you never know if the guy is going to be itty bitty or gigantic.
 
At least in principle, this dirty trick could go in either direction. For example a cruel and twisted escort who knows she has an STD could poke pin holes in her condoms in order to expose her customers to the disease..

Just what p4p needs, another readon for paranoia...

I have preferred brand condoms. What I usually do is to bring my own, un opened box. Then give the rest to her after the session, if she wants to.
