When I dabbled & played I usually kept to a budget. I have once or twice went to the socalled strip clubs in Roppongi & spent way too much.

Has anyone missed out on something by spending too much on adult nite life? Travel, paying rent, can't eat for the week? There's a variety of services & people on here so I'm curious.

I occasionally hear about Japanese men getting their bonuses & immediately blowing it at either hostess clubs or fuzoku.

If it's their bonus i don't think they missed out on anything (unless they planned to buy something from their bonus but went out, got drunk and spend all their money before realizing) because it's not the income they need to pay for their living. They usually spend it on fuzoku to treat themselves.

I realize i charge a lot, and i try to aim for guys who can afford it. But there will be always some guys interested who are not so well off.
I try to keep myself to the motto "it's their responsibility how they manage their finances, not mine" but i can't help but worry sometimes.

If you want to extend the session you need to consult with her and pay on the moment or when the sessions ends, which limits you to how much money are you carrying at the time. Maybe you could go to an ATM after the session ends, but I doubt many escorts (indie or working for a shop) would let a customer do that, even a recurrent one. In practice, if you don’t have the money on you then you would need to book the escort another time.

If a customer pays for P4P with a credit card, which some shops allow but I doubt many indies do, or any other system that allows you to put charges on a tab, then the risk of expending more than intended is considerable. Or if you have special savings (the kids’ college or whatever) in which you start to tap into, is better that you rethink your expenses.

Most people doing P4P tend to have a few regular escorts they see and keep trying different ones. Unless it is very clear that the customer has fallen in love with a provider and is only expending money on her, an escort can assume that whatever money she would prevent a customer from expending on her, he would just expend it with a different escort if his intention is to spend that money on P4P.

Is this one Seven Heaven? They have their prices listed on their webpage, but not for private dances. Entrance is 5.000 to 7.000, as you say, almost the double than the ones I have visited in Kansai, but there are practically no stripclubs here (and even less that allow foreigners) so they are very low-budget. Drinks are hella expensive at Roppongi, 1.500 yens! I feel like a peasant from the west.

From what I hear all the time they don't have many clients who repeatedly come to the club. Some Japanese do as they would in hostess clubs.

Right, the Western-style strip clubs exist on ;such high rollers plus various newbies and innocents (often tourists) who get pulled in and quickly run up bills larger than they can afford and sometime larger than they can pay.

It is useful to keep in mind that places like 7th and Tantra plus many other less famous but basically similar clubs opened back in the bubble economy when an dropping 10-50万 on a big evening out on the town wasn't all that unusual. A stop for a couple of hours of fun at 7th or wherever was just a part of the evening as well; after partying and getting wound up, the evening could easily be continued at some shop providing more fully satisfying services.
