I like to be informed and know what's going on in the world.
I am addicted to reading the news-for as long as I can remember.
My mother is a liar.
She must be. She tells me I was reading the newspaper aloud to her when I was just two years old. I told her impossible! "What did I do when I came to words I didn't know the meaning or the sound, " I asked her. She told me I would follow along with my finger and ask when I did not understand.
Unbelievable!!!
I do vividly recall, reading two newspapers a day when I was five years old. The Sunday LA Times was a bear, but I was always determined to get through it. I continued to read two newspapers a day until my first computer in 1999. Now, I read just one print newspaper a day, the conservative, former Daily Yomiuri, which now calls itself the Japan News.
...and that's why Google News is my favorite Website.
