So as a Japanese, Singing Karaoke is big part of our culture and one of my most favorite things to do! :joyful: (In my Uni I spent most of days in karaoke box party with friends...Boy friend, Even alone... I really miss that!)
Maybe you all might know, but the word "Karaoke" comes from
"Empty(kara)Orchestra(oke)" ;)

What's your favorite song in karaoke? :singing:

English/Japanese/Anime song/Anything!

Mine is "A whole new world" "Price Tag"
Too many Japanese song which you guys probably don't even know!

Paint it black - Rolling stones
Hallelujah - Richard Cohen
Heavy rotation - AKB48

For the last one, I really need to be seriously drunk...

I'm very old fashioned
Also it's the only one I vaguely remember
Oh yes... and Honey from L'Arc , still old-fashioned but a bit less
 
Ah sorry, non-Japanese OK too. Then "Aux Champs Elysées" of course.

Misora Hibari is the best!! Sadly we don't have singer who is about her level anymore... :sick:

Go!!! Flow -it fun when you sing with your mates, as it pumps you up and u can sing as poorly as you like yet still feel good at the end.

Hercules i can go the distance- the vocals dont strain my throat plus its quite short.

Then once I am warmed up typically

I love Karaoke in Japan such a great choice of metal songs to choose from.

Barbie Girl :p

I remember one of the few times I was in karaoke it got put on as a joke. We sang it anyways because we were drunk. Then we got to this part and out from the back of the group someone says in a super fake deep voice "Come on Barbie, let's go Party" from my super skinny more quiet friend. It was amazing!

Few years back a group of friends had a holiday party, and 2 of our friends got up to do this song. One is a die hard metal head and sang it cookie monster style It was the best!

For the record, Yuma is a crazy good singer.
I've only karaoked three times, but I think I sang Exile's Lovers Again all three times.
Sakamoto Maaya and YU-A songs are staples as well.

Haha I miss island date! I was way too drunk after the beach, fall asleep with holding microphone :sleep: If anybody will take me to Karaoke before or after the date, I might concider super discount for the booking! Or organizing Karaoke party :love:

Hmm... just did karaoke for the first time in 20 years last weekend. Either I have forgotten too much kanji, or I was too drunk to notice my suckiness before. For Japanese songs, I am down to kampai and say yes.
For western, whitesnake's here I go again is fun.

Karaoke on your own -- that is a very empty orchestra! The box must have been rocking......I wanna hear every single person, see every pair of hands...Find me, find me, find me ......somebody to love.

@Yuma I remember you singing "A Whole New World" and a few other songs a bit! Probably one of the best singers, if not the best that I know! :D

Usually for karaoke someone I go with always ends up choosing "To the Left, To the RIght." I like singing 宇多田ヒカル's Flavor of Life, English, and some Chinese songs if I can find them.

Want to find a karaoke place with Twice's TT, my current favorite song.

Sadly, in the US not many anime songs at karaoke places otherwise I would like to sing a couple of those.
