While a lot of us are probably horny most of the time, we're not exactly swimming in cash that we can go get laid every time we'd like to. Work commitments, family commitments and other hobbies also dampen such intentions.

When do you find yourself following through and going to a P4P session?
Feel free to give any range of answers - seasonal vs. regular vs. ad hoc, feeling-driven vs. time-driven vs. money-driven, etc. Do you go when you want to reward yourself? Or to cheer yourself up after a bad experience/event?

I'm guessing that most are money-driven. For most Japanese company employees, salary comes in around the 25th of each month, and bonus is usually paid in mid/end of June and December. So, a lot of mongering after the dough comes in.

Some may go when they are very busy & stressed and need a release. Personally for me though, I tend to get horny when I'm relaxed, or in negative terms, bored. So, more temptation then to call and book a session.

Recently during a session, I asked the girl if she had a lot of customers over the Golden Week break and she said no. Usually during long holiday periods or public holidays, a lot of customers do "kazoku sa-bisu" which means spending time or going out with their families. So, busy periods tend to be weekdays after office hours and regular weekends.

Read here as well that the hot summer season tends to be slow for P4P due to customers not wanting to go out in the hot & humid concrete jungle that is Tokyo.

PS: Sorry, maybe not that interesting a topic. Was just feeling bored & horny during a slowdown in P4P activity, self-imposed because I enjoyed my GW trip too much! Hopefully will pick up after I get my bonus this month ;)

Actually interesting topic IMO. Scheduling tends to be tough for me, and I don't have a wife and kids to work around. I'd say most of the time I'll hobby on weekend mid-day or afternoons so that I'm not worn out and neither is who I'm seeing. Holidays usually stink because, the world around, you have the family time, so it's slow for providers, and often they are either off with their families or otherwise not working. I made the mistake of going to New Hot Point once on a national holiday, and the place was packed with other apparently single guys, and there was only one girl working that day. Bad times.

I also tend to monger when I'm not in a relationship and traveling solo. Or at least I monger MORE in those situations. I was in Singapore for less than a week and hobbied every day when it's usually maybe once a month. If I'm not at home to hang out with friends, might as well make some temporary ones, eh?

High end sessions around bonus times. More run of the mill stuff when I happy to be in the area and plans get cancelled.

I probably monger the most after a particularly tough project. It works as something else to look forward to as I approach the deadline. Other than that, I do some light-mongering stuff weekly. Usually have my limit set at 10,000 weekly max. However after projects and deadlines, I break the bank pretty hard.

Definitely looking forward to the beginning of July. :sneaky:

Pretty much mood/feeling driven. So it can be related to busy work periods, but it also means that when in a relationship or even just emotionally invested in a girl, I'm usually not mongering.
As the saying goes, an open door may tempt a saint, so if I go to a place, where it's either very convenient or cost efficient, that can be a factor too.

With work being seasonal, I usually go at it pretty hard after the busy season has seen me go several months without a break.

Also....
I find I get horny when I have a bit of a hangover. Many a DH has benefited financially about mid-day on a Sunday as I try to work out a few kinks.

These days I have sugar dates nearly every evening when I'm in Tokyo (maybe 6 out of 7 nights on average) and only rarely do p4p in any form when I'm elsewhere. During most of my mongering history, I was in road warrior mode and was mostly active on when traveling on business.

I have only done p4p in Japan, so it's when I am on vacation there which is btw in three more days! I fit it in between regular vacation stuff. Last year I was able to get a couple sessions the week I was in Tokyo. Going to try to do the same this year. I'll be in Kyoto for the second week. So need to do some research here about which places are gaijin friendly there. Wish I my work let me travel to Japan on a regular basis like Ww, how convenient.

Kyoto's a rough place to find gaijin friendly services ime, unfortunately.

And yes, my situation is very convenient but also a bit more complex than you describe it...not that you would have any way to know such details.

I typically feel the urge every couple of months or so... That is to actually execute on the the thought. When it happens it's almost always around the noon hour. It provides time to play and get back to my normal location.
I also travel for work and I'm willing to sleuth out an opportunity then too.

I take it for granted that I am living in Japan, and have generally easier access to the many P4P options mentioned on TAG. Looks like a fair amount of TAG members are based outside of Japan.
Not surprising to see that quite a few do P4P when they travel, due to commitments or restrictions back home.
Surprising though to learn that when they do travel, some only do P4P in Japan. Wonder why that's the case.. P4P not that accessible in other countries? Or this being a Tokyo/Japan-centric site, most here just love Japanese women?

In my case, I'm just really attracted to Japanese (and generally asian women). But this upcoming trip I've setup a meeting with on of the non-asian TAG escorts. And in Japan, arranging for P4P is so easy and organized. It's almost as easy as ordering pizza delivery, lol. I love it.
P4P is available where I am from, Honolulu. But the choices here are mostly, asian massage parlours, CL , backpage. Not nearly as many choices and organized as in Japan . Funny, I've never tried it here, only Japan.

@iamyuu Yea, I do have a strong preference for Japanese girls and that's a huge factor for sure. Like with Coda87, I find that P4P in Japan is just more organized and mostly hassle-free in compariso Final reason is that I'm able to be more "free" when I'm in Japan compared to where I'm from.

I have done p4p almost everywhere that I travel, especially in the past, but I tend to concentrate on Tokyo simply both because I spend a lot of time here, thus allowing me to develop ongoing relationships with providers (especially SBs) and because the Tokyo scene is the largest and most elaborately developed p4p scene that I have encountered anywhere in the world.

For me, time is one limiting factor; I am always very busy with my business and live with my partner and can rarely free up more than two hours.

The other factor is my range of needs/desires. When a window of opportunity opens I have to choose between one of my female fwb's, one of my male fwb's, a female p4p provider, or going to a male-only Hatten space. I tend to work a rotation system, or go through periods where I favour one more than others.

For female p4p, I usually spend ¥5000 but sometimes upto ¥9000 if the mood takes me, so money is not a problem. And male bj spaces are only about ¥1200 - very reasonable if you are that way inclined.

So I try to fit in two sessions a week, but would definitely enjoy more if I had the time.

They are the correct figures. For example, yesterday morning I had a forty-minute session with one of my favourite local providers for ¥5000. Originally, I paid ¥10,000 but she now only wants half that. In her case, we kiss, cuddle, massage, I perform daty, paizuri, sumata, and cum. Great topic, can't believe I missed it earlier. Loved seeing the diversity of responses.

For me, all mongering is ultimately heavily dependent on finances. I make a decent wage but rarely have what I'd consider real "disposable" income these days. So my activities have been much more infrequent and of lesser quality.

That said, the main driving force behind my seeking out P4P is stress. The worse things get, the stronger the urge becomes. Usually that results in spur of the moment decisions and a good number of "meh" experiences that only satisfy for a short period of time.

My needs have become more complex as I’ve gotten older.

When the urge is really on (think dog-barking-at-the-moon raving desire) then sometimes one really good shot takes the edge off. But I generally need three or more good shots to feel sated.

So mongering can get very expensive if I really fly my colors in the wind. And I also usually only find the time for mongering during the daytime – which is also better in terms of not being turned away because the shop is busy and/or because I’m not Japanese.

There was a period when I knew a couple Chinese independents who would give me three shots for 15k Yen. But those have moved on and I have not found replacements.

I know a couple places which have some rather hot Chinese or Korean SW’s where I can get a one-shot for 10k Yen – the sign on one of them states “24 hours” – but the time of day often reflects the level of quality of the staff, meaning the prettier girls don’t show up until late afternoon.

I was out of the game for a few years when I found a housewife who would meet me two or three times a month and she could handle and enjoy everything I needed. But like all things, that came to an end too.

I find it interesting to note that I’m not the only one who gets horny when I’m hung over.
