Hello this is my first time making thread here, although I already have joined TAG since last year.

I know STD talk should be discussed in this thread: https://tokyoadultguide.com/threads/sexually-transmitted-disease-std-talk.6499/
But, If I asked this question there, soon my question will be forgotten.

I am active using P4P in Japan, so I want to do STD test, but the problem is I cannot speak Japanese and until now I use google translate to communicate.

This is my question:
1. Is there any STD test clinic in Tokyo that has English speaking Doctor or at least the staff know English?
2. Do we need to show our passport or is there a clinic that can test anonymously?
3. If we somehow get positive STD test result, do we get deported or blacklisted from Japan?

Thanks, I hope someone can answer my question.

Hi and welcome!

And you are absolutely right, this is an important question and there should be a thread about it. Great news is that you already even found that thread! Good job!

Now go and read it or use the search function on the right top corner of your browser window and all your questions will find answers!

As for question number 3, if we get positive result do we get deported?

You won't.

First of all, because doctors don't call immigration when they have a sick foreign patient. Secondly, because getting sick is not a reason to get deported.

Depends a bit on your status of residence and a lot what kind of crimes did you commit to get the STD in question.

If the answer to the latter is none then you will be delighted to hear there are no restrictions on immigration in Japan imposed due to illness.

Thank you very much for the answer @Kdoung
What screening test that you usually get?
