Who Else Is Still Using 3g

am I the only one?

I use 3G on my 4-yr old iPad3

No, I still see people running around with older phones that were only 3G capable. Anyone with an iPhone 4/4S or below would still be stuck on 3G. (I don't believe the 4 or 4S supported LTE/4G) There are too many android flavors running around, so hard to tell.

I asked because the peak hours of 3G lessened as more kinds of internet connections emerged
for example, I cannot watch a YouTube video continuously right after 5PM, that was before
now videos load with good speed until about 9:30 PM
I assumed it's because fewer and fewer subscribers are using it

Oh, I'd agree that less users are using that spectrum. But the backhaul routes between sites are also upgraded to support the bigger protocols, so that could be a factor as well.

I believe that some wireless devices are using 3G for data comms now. Such as alarms or automated meters, GPS tracking devices, etc. But that bandwidth usage is fractional compared to the heavy usage by the usual user.
