I have been only in the scene for a year or so . But what I noticed is that there's a big difference between the escorts present then and now . Some of them are not here anymore , some come and go . Some of them were showing signs of wanting to continue and learning new skills or making new websites and suddenly , there are vanished while others seem to have a kind of a plan.
Why do escorts quit ? , and how long usually ladies stay in business ?

Why did they quit?

Sometimes they have a scary experience with a client, sometimes they’ve reached whatever financial goal was they set when they got into the business in the first place, sometimes they make a sugarbaby arrangement that’s very lucrative but demands exclusivity, sometimes they met a nice guy and they want to get out of the life and settle down and live normally, sometimes they’re just sick of sleeping with strangers. As many reasons as there are escorts.

I think its hard to generalize, each person has a different story and different path...
Of course at some point of time age would be a factor , but it seems they quit before that point anyway

The getting tired of sleeping with strangers thing is a nice notion actually . After my last foray , I have this exact feeling. Dealing with different aromas and having different tastes in my mouth over a short period of time made me wonder how do escorts do it .

So you tried all the flavors at Baskin Robbins? :)

a proclaimed Japanese-American flavor.
Escort or SB? If the latter it may be the one I met 2 months ago , sorry if I left a bad taste... I swear I washed my mouth and brushed my teeth well before going down on her though :D

Remember , exclusive SBs are a myth.

I'd like to think most escorts quit because they've made enough money to move on to something else they also enjoy with more long term potential. But I know that a lot of escorts quit for more negative reasons.

Reasons like what ?

On a side note : I'd be really impressed by escorts who quit after they matched a previously set milestone . They have an iron will. They got accustomed to a certain income that I don't think is easy to reach by other means , may got accustomed to a certain lifestyle and daily habits as well . Not easy to leave all of this behind , but seems everybody have to do it one way or another.

Anything. Escorts aren’t immune to common workplace issues, but are subject to more social ridicule and conflicts. They are people after all and why would you quit a job? It’s usually for a better option or to take a fresh look on a new path.

I agree about the social stress they face . Yet in few months , we lost Yuriko , Alice and now Rikako. Didn't know if this is the normal rate or not .
If my job is giving me a pay that is well above the average , I may be reluctant to leave it though specially knowing such jobs comes with their demand and stress and I think many of us would share this position . That's why I wondered if there's some reasons that's more common among our fellow ladies.

Im guessing they made between 100k (yuriko) and 3-400k (rikako) per week on average so we are looking at 5 million - 20 million max per year. None of that is a life changing amount of money or particuarly above average and the longer you stay in that business the harder it will be to re-train into another job you can do when you are older.

Of those three im sure rikako (young, bilingual, educated) can probably do something else.
No idea about Alice
Yuriko is hanging out at waterfalls and eye-fucking her boss everyday.

Hope they are all happy.

For those I've seen more than a few times and had some connection with, I do wonder what happened. But I try not to speculate or even ask - hearing most of the reasons above might leave me feeling a little bit sad.
I've been kinda curious about Simonka, so I hope she doesn't quit any time soon!

You keep pushing the point...

At some point you really need to accept that ultimately, it's absolutely none of your (or anyone else's) business.

There is alway an exception.... like myself! Next time you talk about an escort age, you should tag me :)

Recently I received a message from my client. He showed my website to his friend and he didn't like it as 1. I am to old. 2. my stereotype/mechanical service described by my client. ( I am wondering which one it is. Mmhm.)
Everybody have their own preference. My age does not appeal to some but it could be a big plus for some others so I am fine with it. And again, I am sorry that they didn't enjoy a date with me. It is sad to hear that date with me ended up disappointing. But we all know that there is no escort that can magically satisfy every single man they see.
My point being, why did he have to tell me that?

Also, I recently had a message from another client. He kindly sent me a thank you note after we met. I replied and all of the sudden, he claimed that I as a writer of the email and I as he met the other day are different. He asked me a couple of questions to verify who I really am, like what we talked about before shower or what was in the box he had at the entrance door. After he confirmed that the woman he talked over email and the one he actually met the other night matched, he started asking my life plan. What is your job target, simply for money or other reason? Do you have a retirement plan? Are you happy with your current life? and eventually asked me if I planned to be a escort until 80 years old. Why do I have to answer such private questions. I told him asking personal questions like this would make all providers very uncomfortable. His reply was "Relax. Just kidding."

Why do they have to be so nosy? Escorts decide to leave for various reason just as why they started escort job at beginning. You don't need to know the real reason behind. What they explain is everything you need to know. If they don't specify the reason why. It means "It is none of your business."

That's not very nice of you actually...
You can guess how much each independent girl makes every month (and their guess is usually wrong.) but judging girl A should have more potential to be successful other than escort scene also than girl B is not nice. I am not supporting one specific girl over others but sorry, it is just my honest opinion.

I totally agree with you , this client was a douchebag (or maybe a life or healthcare insurance seller... which is kinda same)
I don’t agree with your answer to Durg though... By chosing a « public » status for your job , publicizing your fees etc of course people will try to guess. And so many escorts (cough cough ... like one starting with a A... or Y... even a past SB ) like to brag about how much money they make... so all is fair in love and war. And sex. :D

No need to be sorry.
I think most of this thread is just people with a genuine interest and speculation.
I cant imagine what its like to be an escort but I can guess, and chat about it.

I cannot stop you inferring that I was being judgemental here but I assure you that wasnt my intention.

I think its a fairly objective statement to say that a young bilingual university educated attractive japanese woman is going to have more non p4p career options than the other two recent retirees.

@Sudsy - I definitely agree.

Sometimes, some of us form an emotional attachment on some level.

The customer spends time reliving sessions and fantasizing about the next one. Then, suddenly, the source of those memories and fantasies disappears. That can lead to denial and the questions posed by the OP. It’s similar to a break up in a romantic relationship: we simply need to accept reality. Sometimes no reason is as good as any reason. That’s when we should channel our inner Clint Eastwood.

Indeed. And I would bet most of the reasons for escorts to change jobs would be similar than sales guys, delivery people, or... wait for it... any other people changing any other jobs.

Why Eastwood?
