Based on recent discussions I have a question for the ladies. Would you be willing to work at a pink salon? If so, at what price?

It seems like, from the provider 's perspective, this is the lowest rung on the ladder.

No way! doing it all night long is just unbearable, no matter how much they pay. I'd rather be doing obento job somewhere in factories, if I would be left completely no choice.

Plus, reality speaking, pink salon really doesn't pay that much as far as I know.

Thanks for the responses. So anyone care to speculate how pink salons can get a steady stream of willing labor?

Some women don't mind the work, and do it only one or two nights a week, or do shorter shifts.

There are other women who get into it because of financial troubles or lack of employability, and as I mentioned in another thread, consider it a "lesser evil" than other types of fuzoku work. A fair number of PS women are freshly divorced single mothers.

A large number of women who work in PS are women who worked in fashion health or delivery until they gained weight or their looks faded, and have no other saleable skills.

And then, of course, there are some who simply really enjoy what they do. There used to be a woman named Masami at Hinomaru back in the early 90s (when it was in its glory days) who was one of those types, she was skilled and loved to show off all the various techniques she had... she had this one thing she did where she would open her mouth wide and swivel her head, literally swirling her head around your unit... amazing sensation and soemthing I've never had from anyone else.

As a bisexual man, I would give it a go! Getting paid for something you enjoy doing sounds great, although I am sure some TAG readers will recoil in disgust at the thought. And to me, that's an important point. Every person has differing desires, motivations, kinks, financial needs, etc. It's difficult to put ourselves in their shoes. My fwb's friend works in a pinsalo and apparently in her case, sees it as just a part-time job, and preferable to working in a convenience store.

I think the problem people see is not the specific sex act itself but rather the rough/sketchy and semi-public venue plus the sheer volume of customers and repetitiveness.

I have a friend working as a doc who absolutely hates talking to the patients. Needless to say that her chosen specialisation has people sedated before she gets to work. Many other friends of mine in the health sector especially love the interaction with the patients.
People are just different and so are their preferences. Constantly swallowing a dick saves you all the annoying chatter from your customers. You can also keep your private parts private if you prefer to.

In Europe many people from Eastern Europe, African countries etc. go into cleaning jobs. Would anyone here consider such a job at all? Probably not, but some of them come there specifically for that work.

PS still pay substantially more than convini or similar part time jobs. It's all about what you compare with. For an escort it is probably not attractive unless she just loves giving BJ's more than anything.

I have to think that the health risk is quite high though. Even though the hiv risk is low, Getting sick and taking antibiotics often is pretty dangerous from what I hear.

More importantly, it's what incubates antibiotic resistant strains of diseases.

Yes, health risk, repetive work that puts a lot of pressure on your jaws and a lot of guys walking in so a chance of running into someone you know (imagine meeting your boss of your other job there if you do it as a two days in a week part time job!) are the reasons i'd always prefer some health job over this if the pay is equal or not very different.

There are/were all these stories that used to circulate on the monger boards in the US about some outcall escort (equivalent of DH basically) having the door of a hotel room open when she knocked and finding her father or uncle or brother etc standing there looking her in the face... I am not convinced it ever actually happened, but I guess it could.

The same story floats around in Japan... guy goes to dark pink salon, gets the blowjob of his life, and at the end when the girl walks him to the door he sees her in the light and realises it's his daughter.

I was under the impression that most of the girls are living far from Tokyo (like Saitama, Kanagawa, or Chiba) which minimizes the chances of this from happening.

It's an urban legend. I'm sure that it's possible that it may have actually happened at some point or another, but Japan being Japan, I can't see either involved party every telling anyone about it.

It's gotta help and certainly the chances of something of the sort happening are vastly greater for an outcall escort working in her home town if it is some middle sized (e.g., population of say 300,000) in the US.

You would think their father can recognize them from their advertisement. Or is that why they make an appointment? To bust them? At least thats something i don't have to worry about.
