The Yoshiwara Soapland Resource Thread

So everything should be back to normal in 2021 for the soaplands and also tobita? What do you mean by cleanup?

That depends on the virus.

Clean-up as in shutting down of shops, legal or otherwise.

Not yoshiwara, but walked through the naha Okinawa soap area today at peak Monday hour and only 2 shops were closed. All the other touts were out and waving everyone in, including me.

lionsclub accept foreigner thats i know

i went in lion club before, more than 2 yrs ago, no big deal the shop

if tout standing outside, chances are 50%, because it is either a yes or no.
if no touts outside, chances are very slim, i got a lot of reject going inside a closed door shops.

i met a an american chinese and an american white there.(almost 3 years back)
the american white said his american chinese brought him here, and the american chinese told me he knew this place take non japanese.
that place is bit overprice, if you have money, they take non japanese that have problem finding shops there.

Club Azur is OK for foreigners.
I have contacted Club Azur before the outbreak of COVID-19.
For Japanese, 120minutes 67000 yen, for foreigners 120minutes 80000 yen.
But your selcetion is limited, becasue some girls in Club Azur foreigners NG.

i have gave out yoshiwara after i found tobita, no matter how much i willing to pay, beside JAV, the girl look always disappoint me.
tobita i pay like 1/3 or 1/4 for a girl because of the time, still i find the look that i want.
so far only 2 girls in yoshiwara really shock me b4, one @ makeup and one @ gardino, the gardino one really almost the best look i had in yoshiwara(over 80 visits).
the makeup i think is the one now move to gardino, i cant verify is her or not because the photo look too much heavy makeup.https://www.y-giardino.jp/pc/profile.php?id=mina

the only regret was the JAV yuki natsume @ hisyo, i am willing to pay 90k, but she was just japanese only.

surprise yoshiwara still open, not scare?
Being fair, even a busy soap princess is far less exposed (to the virus) than the average conbini clerk, especially if they're screening customers for symptoms.

I plan to go to Tokyo again in Jun, but I do not know if I can go.
I have canceled my ticket and hotel in March and May because of コロナ, 残念....

likely i still can make it for aug bangkok trip.
When pandemic announce 12mar, most global effort join in lockdown for a month or till mid april, but now extend to end of april.
Think it will be still tense for 2-3 months(like wu han), uncertainty, wait and see and response.
only if the vacine can come out soonest, travel restriction is really killing, for fucking trip and livelihood.

not too sure about that. conbini clerks only see customers for a few seconds...and i think for a reasonable probability to catch it you have to spend some time next to a sick person breathing or talking. this doesn't happen if somebody just passes by. soap princesses exchanges spit with a handfull of customers each day....much easier to catch it that way ^^

Let's say an average of five-six customers a day, who've had their temperature checked and will be asked to leave if they cough in the waiting room, versus a couple of hundred a day with no screening, and constantly passing paper currency back and forth. I still say conbini clerks are way more at risk.

If they really test customers like that, it's of course better than nothing, but it think coughing or fever are not the dangerous part. I think most people with some common sense will not head out for P4P when they have a fever, but the nasty thing about corona is that people are contagious before they develop symptoms.

If a conbini clerk gets sick, he probably wont infect others because he is at least wearing a mask....somebody in the P4P industry will spread it to all following customers without knowing.....sooner or later we will also have cluster infections in Yoshiwara, Ikebukuro and so so....not only Kabukicho

I disagree - the clerk has a much higher chance of coming into contact with an infected individual, and they're handling and exchanging paper all day long - the virus can survive in a viable state for 24 hours on paper and cardboard.

They're also stocking shelves, handling food and drink... if you're smart, you're wiping down everything you bring home from the store.

The problem is that we all have no real clue about the subject matter....me as little as you. Because we all didn't study virology we can only rely on information and advice we are given. We hear tha scientists were able to prove that the virus can stay alive 3 hours in air and multiple days on hard surfaces.....this for example sounds scary as hell at first, but doesn't give any real information. In the end it always matters how much of the virus is present in the samples to determine if it's a likely way of transmission.

I think money was early on propagated as a way the virus can be transmitted, but never really backed up with studies or facts. I think theoretically it could be transmitted this way, but it's super unlikely. I have also no real clue, and dislike the situation that we are only given very lackluster advice what to do. In the end we can all only be careful.....but I would really appreciate if the media would hand out some more scientific data that would make it easier to get a realistic image of how transmission of viruses works and how likely certain things are.

Speak for yourself. :)

I didn't finish medical school, but I paid attention....

I love the science of medicine, but turned out I really hate working with sick people.
