The Anything Goes Thread

Canned alcohol is not my idea of the next best thing. If this is a life goal then may I suggest the 100 yen bottles of Saki at your local combini. I'm sure you'll just love that to death :p:):D

"Certified Gold Digger"

Just cleaning up my SA inbox and found a message from a SB with the tag line "Certified Gold Digger". I wonder how well that worked for her. Probably a good ice breaker that worked well.

nothing. i can now die a happy man
Or you could start trying to make your own better version....

To get you started, here's 30 different kinds of lemons to explore and Kakuyasu's extensive selection of shochu.

Add a seltzer bottle, and then you can experiment with different types of water as well.

May you have many happy evenings trying the thousands of possibilities :D

(And it's just occurred to me that you could start a bar serving nothing but variants of the lemon sour.... wow.)

Probably would have worked for me. I like the honesty of it

not a bad idea actually. I love lemons. And the bar’s BGM would be LZ’s The Lemon Song on repeat.

Lemon Tree! Every cover band in Asia had Lemon Tree down pat.

It is a pity Tokyo was never on the cover band circuit. I think great, terrible, hilarious cover bands are an essential part of the Asia "expat" experience.

Yeah, some of those bands pack serious musical talent. The current singer for Journey, Arnel Pineda, was on that circuit for ages....

I haven't been down there for a while. I wonder what the scene will be like post covid. I expect many expats and locals will be looking to get out.

... and I guess he’s better than the rest of whatever remains of Journey

Has anyone of you recently had a PCR test carried out here in Tokyo to travel abroad? Is there any clinic you can recommend where one can get tested and get the result/certificate on the same day?
My naïve google search brought up this site
https://clinicnearme.jp/en
but I'm not sure it's a legitimate offer as I read on another page that the MHLW has issued a warning. Is there any way to check whether it's legitimate?

Thanks as lot.

I'm just using the US Embassy list here: https://jp.usembassy.gov/u-s-citizen-services/covid-19-information/pcr-testing-facilities-in-japan/
..I may travel out of Japan soon and I will need to do this - this is the list I'll refer to when I go to get the required test.

T Care Clinic is one of the designated testing centers for Hawaii’s Pre-travel Testing Program. It's legit.

Doing diversity and inclusion training at work. Me? I got no problem with diversity. I've seen providers of all races LOL

As a heterosexual guy it's impossible to be racist. They are all pink inside.
