Today I learned that adults play a fictional game from a kids book but take it seriously, and not only that but they dont like the author of the book anymore so they are changing the name of the silly game.

i looked up a couple of videos and the people who play this game are exactly the type of people you would expect to play a game from a children’s book and then get offended by the author of the book.

Wow! I knew nothing of quidditch being played for real until this. Not just people having a lark, but actual league play. FFS

It must be terrible time to be a creative writer nowadays. You just can't make this shit up how hard you try; reality is always weirder than anything you can think of.

What’s the name of this guy who sees racism everywhere and became Japanese just to make a point?
I think I just saw him in Ginza, making a stink because some Japanese guy passed in front of him in a queue. Threatening to call his lawyers , blah blah blah.

I was asking him to tone down a bit because he was ranting endlessly and noisily, annoying everyone around… then he replied that I should have no say because he is Japanese and I am not (now who’s the one doing 差別? :ROFLMAO:)


He was ultimately escorted out by the Police after having demanded to talk to the manager who had to endure 10mn more of his Gaijin Karen idiocy

Didn't he leave Japan? I've only heard about this guy in fringe posts around the net. Just sounded like someone to avoid altogether...

Just googled him and saw the pics. Could be him if he looks older now and lost his hair and beard. But none of his paranoia and arrogance

but it might be also an Italian guy. He was mumbling in Italian (I think) after I asked him to shut up
