So I've been looking around for a place to go for my first time, and JK-style looks like they have a lot of cute girls, but I was wondering if it's foreigner friendly? I live in Japan but I don't have a cellphone yet, but I could probably contact them via payphone or something, would they still accept me as a customer when I now only very basic Japanese?

Thanks in advance.

Get a cellphone, learn some Japanese, then play so you don't poop the pool for the rest of us. :poop:(n)(n)(n)

Absolute abundance of reports of JK style on the board, if you can't do the minimum amount of research for yourself then It's pointless people posting reviews.

I think the newbies can not see the reviews. They need to get to a certain number of posts first to view the reviews. Makes the newbs participate more in the forums and not just feed off of the information available.

Lel chill the fuck out, no reason to be rude. I did in fact read previous JK-style reviews but never found a definitive answer, so before you plebians try to act high and mighty, at least try to be polite first. PFFT.

Sorry about that, but if you see here I think mentioned in some of these reviews is some detail about calling up and asking for Aoki-san who can service you in English. However, not all girls will see non-Japanese clients. If you want to choose a girl, have a few options ready in case they aren't available due to schedule or not available because of foreigner.

Let me also state that if you can speak some Japanese, it will open up the door a little wider. In some cases, it's not that the girl doesn't' want to see foreigners, but is more worried about a non-Japanese speaking client not being able to communicate and that feels risky to her.

Bottom line: Yes, they will take foreigners but choice of girls may be limited.

Hope this helps!

"Dear Mummy, why can't a service made for Japanese men and run by Japanese men bend their rules for me? Why can't the damn natives speak the Queen's English like civilized people?" :bag:

For the rest of you: Please be a little more polite, the answers aren't so obvious for everyone, especially newbies to TAG.

WTF? A muppet like that is going to piss the entire pool tripping over himself. I had a cellphone week two of being in-country, and that was back when i-mode was the latest and greatest.

There is no reason to take such offense on new people... The majority of people that come to Japan as visitor don't get a cell phone and even if someone lives here (as above), it's not exactly easy to just go get a phone. There are actually more restrictions now than there were before. (aside from the cost) -- You and I both don't know this particular situation and it's not fair to assume.

PS: My first phone in Japan was on someone else's contract until I could get established.

"Oh look, I'm being cool on the internet, somebody please love me hurr durr"

I respect the fact that you're having a bad day, or that you're simply an uncivilized cunt, or perhaps or mixture of both. It's fine, really. I do however hope that you find some other way to find satisfaction than playing high and mighty on an internet forum. Maybe a hobby? I hear collecting stamps is a thrill. :')

OK, to actually answer your question. Dai jobu, don't worry. I called them using my Skype. You can speak English, but you might be put on hold while the person answering the phones goes and gets the person who speaks English very well. He will take your name, ask you to make up a four digit number that will then be your identity for future visits. He will ask your preference in regards to a young lady, but no guarantee since you are a new customer. He will instruct you to call again at about 30 minutes before your appointment. He will instruct you to call again once you have checked into the love hotel.

I have always used Festae which is gaijin friendly and may have an English speaker around. If not, look at the wall across from the reception and choose a room, then pay. Next call JK. You will have to dial 0 (zero) then JK's number Oh, one more thing-when you check out, you will have to pay 10 Yen for each call you made:

PS: Please be nice, even to Mr. Chavers. His bark is worse than his bite. Admin will always be helpful and others, as well, as long as you are a bit humble and respectful. After you post a bit you can loosen up.

BTW: I have been in Japan for seventeen years and still do not own a cell phone. Since I don't have any friends, I don't need one-haha!

Best of luck and please post a review.

One Love!

John, John John, I doubt if a koban will have enough space. On the other hand, he can always get a tattoo and head to Zushi Beach!

Be nice or I'm likely to overtake you in the number of "Likes."

about the cll phone, i got mine on the second day i moved here and while they indeed changed the rules a little, its not difficult to get pre paid phones... and there must be some roaming plan, or whatever, or all the tourists are just looking at pictures they took, when they are holding their phones...
