Hmmmm given how the rooms and ladies are at the Asian-xyz shops I would not even think about asking for more , but I really like their HE massages. Too bad if even that becomes off the table. Wouldn’t go there for just a normal massage

I believe the very first Japanese to go overseas were the groups that began shipping out to Hawaii (which was still a sovereign nation then) in the 1880s, after the Hawaiian King negotiated a deal with the Meiji emperor to help trim down the overpopulation in Japan's southern countrysides and fill labor shortages in the sugarcane and pineapple fields in Hawaii. Most were just poor farm kids, but a lot were drunks, deviants, gamblers, criminals, shamed former soldiers or others the families wanted to get rid of. Obviously, the dumbasses didn't realize they'd be in a world war fifty years later and wish they'd kept the manpower. Soon after that, realizing the potential advantages of the cheap labor, the U.S. decided to bring in Japanese laborers for the agricultural communities on the west coast, particularly in California and Washington, and the Japanese government was still more than happy to expel all those dirty, hungry peasants as quickly as possible. I believe that went on from the early 1900s until around the 1930s...right around the time the imperial government realized it might need a few more hands on deck for the mass rapes and beheadings in the jolly land of China. I've even encountered large Japanese communities in Colorado, Idaho and as far east as Illinois.

As far as I can tell, the Japanese communities that moved stateside into predominantly white communities remained largely in the farming industry, perhaps succeeding in finally purchasing their own strawberry farms, which they lost during the evacuation in 1942. But in lands with predominantly brown people, like Hawaii, the Japanese did what they do best: seize power, take over all branches of government and the build racist, oppressive regimes and institutions where they're at the top and anyone dark is tossed down into a permanent lower class. And if you ever travel to Hawaii, look at a list of the surnames in the state legislature, past governors, members of Congress, etc., or the top business leaders in the state.

But no matter where they go, some things never change. Give Japanese a chance and they'll banzai charge into ruthless control of everything (or blow themselves up trying).
