Thanks for the many suggestions. I've been to Kua Aina and Oak Door. Pretty good. Since I'm from Hawaii gotta support. lol

http://www.roti.jp/ - Roti, pretty classy burger place

http://tabelog.com/en/tokyo/A1309/A130905/13006376/ - Mos Burger Classic. basically its a sit down version of Mos Burger, good size, a lot more options and alcohol.

If you don't mind travelling a bit more:
http://www.sunnydiner.com/ - Sunny Diner, Kita-senju. There's 2 shops, one inside Lumine and one outside the station. These are kinda like 70's roller skate diner-esque places that play 90's rock/punk while you eat. Good sized burgers, GIANT, american sized drinks. The former owner worked in America for a few months learning how Americans do burgers, so if you're American and looking for a slice of home, this place is epic.

I'd say freshness burger is one of the worst I ever had... Better go to mossburger instead... Or in sunshine city, kua aina had decent ones if not the best imo.

I'm guessing you had the standard menu as opposed to the "classic" burgers. The cheap burgers are smaller and horrible, the classic burgers are big and quite nice.

Kuaina is not good IMO and overpriced.

The Great Burger in Shibuya is hands down the best burger in Shibuya and great shakes as well.

I think I got the classic one back then and compared to kua aina it was horrible imo. But I can't try them anymore anyways even tho I would love to! Haven't had a burger in a year or so.

Per the blog I linked, I've tried Blacows. I think I enjoyed the food more because of the company I was with.

Note: don't order any wine. :wtf:

I've had various burgers from various places around Tokyo and Japan in general... I guess I just have a different expectation that most people.

I'm planning to try Carl's Jr. in Akihabara to see how it ranks for the fast-food category.

If you're familiar with U.S. places, you'd typically see me going to Five Guys for a burger.
But if there's a good BBQ place nearby, you won't see me near a burger place.

Best burgers for the size, quality, taste and price is as follows:

Bareburger New York (Ginza/Jiyugaoka)
The Great Burger (Harajuku)
Shake Shack (Ebisu/Gaienmae)
Bubby's NY (Tokyo Station/Roppongi-Itchome/Shiodome/Yokohamaa/Futako Tamagawa)

If you are into milkshakes with your burger, then The Great Burger is the place to be at.

TAG burger meetup anyone? Lol

@Wwanderer what was that burger place you took me?

A secret! Don't want all this mob showing up there. The waits are already long enough! :p

I mean sharing info on our favorite escorts or LHs or soaplands or other sex shops or beaches or beers or whatever is fine...but we're talking burgers here. Serious stuff. :D
