Brexit, Yay Or Nay?

There might also be an increase of foreign born nationals returning home so things will balance out I suppose.

Geoffrey, a middle-aged British tourist on his first visit to Germany finds the red light district and enters a large brothel. The madam asks him to be seated and sends over a young lady to entertain him.

They sit and talk, frolic a little, giggle a bit, drink a bit, and she sits on his lap. He whispers in her ear and she gasps and runs away! Seeing this, the madam sends over a more experienced lady to entertain the gentleman.

They sit and talk, frolic a little, giggle a bit, drink a bit, and she sits on his lap. He whispers in her ear, and she too screams, "No!" and walks quickly away.

The madam is surprised that this ordinary looking man has asked for something so outrageous that her two girls will have nothing to do with him. She decides that only her most experienced lady, Lola, will do. Lola has never said no, and it's not likely anything would surprise her. So the madam sends her over to Geoffrey's. They sit and talk, frolic a little, giggle a bit, drink a bit, and she sits on his lap. He whispers in her ear and she screams, "NO WAY, BUDDY!" and smacks him as hard as she can and leaves.

Madam is by now absolutely intrigued, having seen nothing like this in all her years of operating a brothel. She hasn't done the bedroom work herself for a long time, but she's sure she has said yes to everything a man could possibly ask for. She just has to find out what this man wants that has made her girls so angry. Besides she sees a chance to teach her employees a lesson.

So she goes over to Geoffrey and says that she's the best in the house and is available. She sits and talks with him. They frolic, giggle, drink and then she sits in his lap.

He leans forwards and whispers in her ear, "Can I pay in Pounds?"

Let me guess - as a conservative you deny that the west has any responsibility to fix the refugee problem it created in the first place?

This is not the refugee crisis, refugees are fleeing a war in their home country, so why would they be so hell bent on starting one in their new home?

Refugees don't drive trucks at women and children, or go around killing old priests etc. these are terrorists.

But, if an open door policy can't distinguish between the two, then what do you do, keep inviting everyone and hope it'll get better while you bury your head in the sand, or try and put a stop to it.

A lot of refugees are not "fleeing" anything, just looking for an easy life in the west, or to wage their war on foreign soil.

Every terrorist action should result in an equal reaction. If you want to drive a truck and kill 84 innocent people then expect our special forces to be visiting 84 of your friends and family in the near future.

I believe DocMcStuffins confused refugees with immigrants:

And the last decade or so has indeed seen Britain become a highly sought-after destination for less-skilled European immigrants, thanks to the structure of the U.K.’s economy and its public policies. Recently, Martin Ruhs, an expert on international labor migration based at Oxford University, argued that free movement across the European Union is greatly complicated by the fact that different member states have different approaches to labor market regulation and the welfare state. First, countries with lightly regulated labor markets are generally more attractive to less-skilled immigrants than countries with tightly regulated labor markets, because high minimum wages and rigid limits on work hours tend to price less-skilled workers, native- or foreign-born, out of jobs. This is why there are so many less-skilled, non-European immigrants desperate to enter Britain from France—a country no less prosperous or safe than Britain— where it is far harder for immigrants to get on the labor market’s bottom rungs.

The United Kingdom's vote to leave the European Union last week appears to have been driven in part by a historical surge of immigrants in recent years that has transformed the island nation.

Legal migration, particularly from Eastern Europe, has soared as new countries have entered the EU and their citizens — with the blessing of U.K. leaders — took advantage of the bloc's freedom of labor laws to enter Britain.

Yeah, there's been a bunch of Poles and others going into the UK. Nobody knows what the legal status of those folks is going to be since Article 50 hasn't been invoked yet. Regardless of what you think of the refugee crisis, the UK has been able to resist much of the refugees due to legal and geographical restrictions.

There's also a lot of UK folks that invested in houses in Spain as a place for retirement, and now they are kind of in limbo too.

90 percent of the immigrants / bogus asylum seekers are young men. Why aren't they looking after their families?

This isn't really on topic here and that stat is wrong. about 2/3rds of refugees coming into Europe are men. 90% of unaccompanied minors are male.

But to answer your question: They are taking care of their families. They have a choice between staying and getting pulled into a military conflict/killed, or leaving and finding work and send money back home.

In July 2012, the rules on family migration changed. It is now much more difficult for Brits to bring their foreign husband or wife to live with them in the UK. Many people have been shocked to find out about the new rules as, these days, relationships between people from different countries are very common. This is an abuse of the human right to a family life.

So what are the rules?

A Brit with a husband or wife from, say, America or India now needs to earn at least £18,600 per year to bring them to the UK. The rules are very strict and many families are unexpectedly refused. As a result, many Brits are living here without their partner. Some have British children who rarely or never see their non-British mum or dad.

Facts:
  • According to the Government's own estimate this rule affects over 17.000 families each year
  • Only British citizens who can show they earn more than £18.600 can sponsor their non-European spouse's visa
  • £18,600 is over £5,000 more than someone working full-time earning the National Minimum Wage receives
  • 47% of Brits working in the UK today earn less than the amount required to bring a foreign husband or wife here

In the USA many immigrant workers from Mexico are males, as well. They send most of their earnings back to their families in Mexico.

The same holds for the massive amount of Filipino workers around the globe.

My general experience is that p4p-related boards are not good places for discussion of controversial political topics (largely) unrelated to adult fun.

It is a pity you haven't be able to give an intelligent argument for your side. Your comments here are typically childish.
