Only in CO for 7 months but it was a wild time. Columbine was in April that year. The snow melted on the slopes in late May so I packed up and moved back to the west coast.

Fucking hell, those are some memories. We must be almost the exact same age. I was walking back from class when Columbine happened. Remember that bloody kid hanging out the window? His brother was across the hall from us in the dorms, throwing a fit. We all got really fucking high and went to the memorial. I remember any goth dumb enough to keep wearing his trench coat on campus after that got his ass beat pretty bad. Yes sir, the late 90s were an interesting time.

i see. Went to Denver many times and always thought it’s nice but … a bit boring. Sanitized. Couldnt quite imagine riots going on there
