I wonder about that as well, but in addition to certain physical progressions, I think there are some mental ones as well. I'm only 8 years younger than you and I've been with my wife for 20 years. I've noticed that my "type" has changed as she's changed. When she was pregnant I was into pregger porn, later lactation pics got me goin', and now I'm really into flat-chested, skinny chicks in their 40's. Interestingly, one thing that I wouldn't have thought of when I was younger is that I can often look at a woman my age, and see the woman she was when she was in her twenties. A woman doesn't have to be the current model to be beautiful. Plenty of classics....

While it is pretty hard to debate the compelling logic of your definition , it does have the consequence that some women will never be grannies or even MILFs if you extend the logic. I'd say a woman becomes a granny for the purposes of this discussion when her first grandchild is born or when she reaches retirement age, whichever comes first.
