It totally does. But I am guessing I got started with Kobe Tai who met both requirements and I kind of got stuck on them.

I've always wondered the same. In the early days of that site they had a "bar" in the Armory so they didn't have to worry about real public and could just pack the place with extras or whatever. From what I recall most of them didn't actually have any contact with the talent.

Once they switched to outdoor scenes and inside stores and stuff I have no idea how they pull it off. I would think that all the people who actually have sex with the performer have to be hired though and tested because they shoot in California and they have strict rules about testing for adult performers. Unless they go shoot those in another state/country. But most states have laws specifically preventing porn shoots. That's why almost all porn in America comes from California and Florida with a few exceptions in Arizona (FTVGirls being the most famous I can think of for that).

It was probably staged, but in a place like San Francisco where I believe the scene was shot, I wouldn't be suprised if it was not entirely staged (maybe just get the store owner permission). Plenty of open minded and freaky people live in that City.

Yeah, of course it was staged. It's either a set, or they got approval from a store owner. Yeah, there's plenty of small groceries and bodegas in SF where they could either shut down for the day or shoot it overnight. In general, you are correct, the courts in the USA have usually ruled that if your in a public place, especially a place that attracts crowds, you have no expectation of privacy when it comes to being caught on camera. However, almost all places have rules about "lewd and lascivious conduct" in public that would get anyone filming a porno arrested. They might get away with flashing and such, and several places have made it legal for women to be topless now to be equal with men going shirtless, but if they start the action and don't get out before cops show up they are probably spending an evening in jail at the very least.

Yep, I was referring to more 'amateurish' pornos where they have the guy walking with the girl in public, but then the 'action' happens in private, like a hotel room.
