Sounds similar to JK style and OL style run by their respective group. Miss Campus is younger/shy girls just like JK, then go up the age a little and OL Style is more in line with Marunouchi, up in age and experience...?

2019 Update:

- Don’t bother with campus night, many girls are super passive and chatty.
- Miss campus is ok action, ok looks.
- Marunouchi has the most aggressive girls, but looks are hit-or-miss.
- Gakuensai is young girls, action is very YMMV.
- Ribbon was surprisingly good, but many girls are new.

I would recommend Marunouchi or Ribbon (for the brave).

At Marunouchi I did not find the girls particularly aggressive out of the gate. Quality was good though in my 4 lady rotation C cup seemed to be the norm. I wasted the first 2 in the rotation going with the flow and seeing what would happen. Which was not a lot of you don’t initiate. I found you have to ask politely for what you want. To have her get on top, open the shirt to play with the titties, make out etc. Yeah, no brainer I know. So then the last 2 I figured it out and even could get their motors churning a bit. Then it was a good time indeed. I would recommend if you can speak enough Japanese to make the ladies comfortable. And can ask politely for what you want, within the shop rules of course.

Sample size is a thing, but that’s my general perception. True, maybe what I meant was “most aggressive once you get their motors churning a bit” Great advice for first timers, thanks.
 
I'd be interested to hear your opinion on Cherry and their two other shops in Ikebukuro. I've mostly stuck to those shops and haven't really ventured beyond like you. No opportunities nowadays to get out.

Went there today before a date with an escort.

I went there last summer and had a mixed experience. I can understand your frustration, but I am not surprised that they rejected you. Almost every sekukyaba thread here clearly states that you need at least conversational Japanese to get in. I know that Marunouchi and Miss Campus have the rules in English, but that just serves clarification puposes and does not mean they let everyone with zero to basic language skills in.
Believe it or not, but sekukyabas aren't just about kissing and boob licking, but also about conversation. You wont make a girl feel comfortable when you do not speak her language and try to stick your tongue into your mouth in the first few seconds.
You could go to a soapland or use a deriheru for your pleasure, but sekukyabas are usually off limits for foreigners without at least JLPT N3 conversation skills. Sorry for being so honest here.

I would argue that deriheru and other services are also only fun if you can speak with the girls properly. Impossible to build up any chemistry without speaking.......and it's only fun if there is a bit of chemistry in the air. Otherwise it's just a mechanical service....at least I don't enjoy that.

It's always a number of different factors I would say. Language is one, your appearance and behavior another....and of course sometimes it's a matter of the guy at the door.
I remember that I once went to one and was told at the door that it's only for japanese despite telling him that I already have been there 1,2 times. Headed down the elevator and talked to a guy that was going down, who was asking me which place I visited. Told him that I was out of luck....and he immediately told me: you have been here before? Of cour you can come in, let's get back up.
Sometimes it's just random.

I quite agree on this. I dressed in suit and was well prepared for the occasion (perfume, teeth brushed etc...). But for both first, the guy didn't even check anything more than my face. He saw I was not Japanese so that was a clear no. Both guys of these shops had the same behavior. However the 3rd one was a lot more friendly. He directly explained me the rules in Japanese and didn't even question me with a cold tone like the others. I was quite disappointed due to me previous failure so I asked him the same question without any expectations and in the end his answer was "yes of course you can stay even if you are not Japanese".

Even with the girls I asked later if they did mind I was not Japanese and none of them complained. We even spent an awesome time together, mostly with the 3rd girl with whom I asked 2 extensions so much she was hot.

Anyway as you said it depends on the mood of the guy at the entrance. Yesterday at Hiroshima I tried going to the "rinrin" club listed on the blog and same, an old geezer just saw my face and told me "Japanese only". OK. Thanks.

What's the name of the third kyabakura place? If you got rejected at miss campus (which is more foreign friendly than other kyuu chain sekukyabas) I suspect they're phobic of customers from covid 19 infected countries. You're lucky you're still enjoying yourself in Tokyo now.
