I've been seeing this topic popping up on Twitter a couple of times where Escorts express how important it is to use lube even in front of the client for safety. But complain that clients get rather angry at some times and try to prevent them using the lube. Some clients welcome it tho.

How do you guys feel about the usage of lube in P4P? Are you against it or pro?

I know about GFE providers using a disinfectant/cleanser down there before seeing a client.
This is usually put during the time the lady excuses herself to use the bathroom just after the couple
enter the room.

Lube is new information to me but I rather enjoy it. Makes it easier to rub on the GFE provider.
Shiori of AM especially loves to use lube and has her own tray of such goodies during the session.

Some guys don't like lube because it takes away from the "tightness" of the provider.
It may not be 100% true, but a tighter PSY usually helps the guy to come quicker. (Not too tight, though)

I can easily guess that some would expect that their foreplay game, electric charm and seduction skills would trigger enough secretions, and as such seeing their provide using lube is hurting their ego.

Personally, my ego can survive this :)

Without creating useless polemics, it's true that usually in other contexts with proper escalation, you don't expect your girlfriend to do so.
It could slightly impact the impression of a girlfriend experience. It depends how much appearances matter to your client.

Haha boring rainy day topic? Well from a man's perspective being able to make a woman aroused and wet is certainly gratifying to my ego. And in a non-P4P relationship I'd prefer to find another partner vs have sex with a woman who isn't into it.

P4P-wise I guess I'd rather find a provider who I had better chemistry with? But if a little lube is necessary maintenance after a hard days ride I guess that's fine ;-)

I believe clients can feel offended by this because they may start thinking that they're not attractive enough or not good enough in bed.. but that's usually not the case.

A client can look like Ian Somerhalder, and I still wouldn't be able to get turned on if it all seems too rushed and/or if there's little or no chemistry between us.

This is the reason why I have to use lube during the majority of one-hour appointments. Sometimes the guy doesn't want to talk at all, and just wants to get into it right away. I think it makes perfect sense to use lube in these scenarios.

Also some women have trouble getting wet and or staying wet.

You are both perfectly right. It can also happened that due to some other medication you may have some temporary dryness.

To put everything in perspective, we need to realize that many clients are insecure and won't understand that such reasons have nothing to do with them.

This being said, I would guess it's hard to find everybody attractive anyway.

Fun fact, i had a boyfriend insist i use lube with him (quite sensitive guy).

I don't mind at all! In fact it's better knowing that the initial entry won't be so difficult and possibly uncomfortable for her. Plus if a woman and I have been at it for a while, even with breaks, it's unreasonable to expect she'll be constantly wet.

True, differences in physical characteristics are a great reason. I've had a couple of non-P4P experiences with women who were just too small/tight for natural lubrication to suffice. Although given that I suspect they wouldn't have a very successful P4P career either ;-)

I can think of many extenuating circumstances where chemistry is just fine but some assistance is needed and there's definitely nothing wrong with that.

I do feel there is a bias in Tag active members population.
They are eager to know more about what the sex industry offers, some social facts, providers well being and spend a decent amount of their time discussing such topics on TAG or Twitter.
I'm not sure the average monger is that willing to know about what happens backstage and may just want a good show.
As such, I understand that these guys just want to feel they have a one hour girlfriend who is excited as much as they are, and take personally the implication of "visible logistic details".
What to say about that?
Being judgemental is not very constructive.
My question would be should you let them know it is just a show (and they paid for it) or do you make all the preparations discretely?

Ok, I'm obviously one of those insecure guys. I don't like it if the provider uses lube, thought that doesn't mean I will make a fuss about it, if it happens.
Reasons are pretty simple
1. It detracts from GFE... I can't remember to ever have used it with a gf... We either spent the time required or if she would get in the right mood for whatever reason went with other forms of intimacy that go without penetration
2. I have never experienced it integrated in a natural and fun way. It's always somewhat disruptive
3. Somewhat related to #2 it reduces flexibility. At least I like to kiss down there a lot at various stages. Once you put lube there you have to finish the act and clean the mess, before you can go down there again
4. In combination with a condom it can lead to me feeling almost nothing. Actually happens quite often.

So yes, I strongly prefer when we can do it without lube. Not always possible, but feels much better.

From a safety perspective it's actually important in preventing condom tears. So yes, I'm wholeheartedly in favour.

I honestly don't understand anyone who would get upset about it being used - it's akin to the guys who hate involving toys, feeling that using them somehow makes them less of a man.

For 1-3 all I can say is "you're doing it wrong"

Thank you for the very helpful reply, as if it was the customer who is generally applying.
I will not go into the other points as you all are way too busy getting brown points with the ladies here.
I do not feel that the use of lube adds anything positive to my experience to say the least and therefore I'm not in favor of using it. I also do no feel a need to conform with what you think should be a reasonable preference. I don't like the use of condoms at all either, but would even insist on using it. I have never complained to a provider about using lube either.

First of all I hope you didnt take what I said personally, it was mostly a joke. If I made you feel bad, my apologies.

Sometimes with a woman I'll say "let me help you with that" and let it be an excuse for a bit of foreplay.

Not my intention, just a side effect.

I have never complained to a provider about using lube either.
Probably a good policy.

That's my position also, or should I say it was. Because reading that made me start to think (yeah, it hurt a bit ;)).

Of course all things being equal I'd prefer not to use condoms. And some of my regular friends even sometimes suggest we would not use them. But all things are never equal, are they?

If I didn't use condoms I would be thinking about all the possible consequences all the time during the play and could not enjoy the act. But with a good condom I can forget all my worries and just bang on..

So does that then mean that I actually like condoms?

That's some deep philosophy right here!
