The Anything Goes Thread

And he’s going at it again  he must have too much time on his hands...

Too much time in his hands and too little brains in his head. And now he is focusing on one escort specifically, creepy much?

Shamelessly necro-bumping MY thread
In Roppongi now and it feels like an eternity (ok , 1 week, but you know what Rick says in Casablanca)
So if you're around within next hour it's drinks on me at R2
And no, my dick has not magically lengthened , it's just that I am in a festive mood after a very boring call and TGIF!
Sante! Kampai! Chinchin!

Binge watching Lucifer on Netflix.
Damn the lead role is so funny and hot , and a Brit, and I can't help becoming a fan.
Shit what happens to me recently with the natives of Albion?! We're supposed to hate those guys, it's in the DNA, 1000 years of rivalry... what's going on? I need to see a doctor

I'm going the other way round. I used to prefer Brit guys and now, I'm after French! lol. Such an influence of, "you can't have them!" at work lol, but with such a hard core playful flirt without a word, such a hot, beautiful body language with French is such an entertaining excitement, adding something fun out of tough work, wondering how come they exceed!!! The French gents! Not just one, you know...makes me unsatisfied, horny, wanting my own French petit ami, La petit Prince!
Sigh...

Shamelessly necro-bumping MY thread [...] Sante! Kampai! Chinchin!

Since this is an anything goes thread I feel that I can respond to this.

Do the French really say chin chin? (and does it have the meaning in Japanese that I have heard it does?)

Chin chin was used for a long time in English (well, British English anyway) but it sort of died out about 30 years ago. My only recollection now of the term being used was in adverts for Cinzano (do they still make that?) in the late 70s/early 80s when a pretentious English guy was trying to impress Joan Collins (Americans of a certain age may know her best as 'Alexis Carrington' in the 80s show 'Dynasty').

This is how Brits who use the phrase "chin chin" are portrayed:-

I always find it interesting how different Netflix is in different regions. I'm currently in the UK and Lucifer is only available on Amazon Prime - not Netflix. But, I agree with you, it's a great show and season 3, which is currently airing at the moment, is a lot of fun.

Talking about Netflix, I've been watching a few Japanese shows to get myself acclimatised before my move to Japan and, frankly it's been a bit weird. It's either shows about high school/university students portraying really quite dysfunctional relationships at one extreme where the old "treat them mean to keep them keen" style of dating is used by most Japanese men. Or the Japanese version of 'Big Brother' called 'Terrace House' where nothing really seems to happen at all.

Having said that there was one show that I watched that did really draw me in. In English it's known as 'The Many Faces of Ito' but I understand that in Japan it is known as 'Itō-kun A to E'. The lead actress, someone by the name of Fumino Kimura, impressed me with an interesting and understated performance:-

So what can I really expect from being in Japan?

By the way, just talking about Fumino Kimura, I've read the posts from your experience with SA and I've also read the posts in that forum about the Universe Club. How likely am I to meet someone like Fumino Kimura in those places in Japan? I know that I should perhaps start a new thread on this subject in the Sugar Dating part of the foum, but I just thought I'd ask. I guess what I'm saying is late 20s/early 30s, some one I can spend time with out of bed as well as in it and have an interesting conversation in English as well as anything else. (For context, I'm in my early 50s)

Indeed, such a small world, that makes me even more excited! But at the same time, noone should call me Yuriko at work by word of mouth! Interestingly, French loves formality, that they call us by our surnames, which is nice though. I find when expat bosses call my given name, too casual. Americans tend to call by our given names. That's such a jump more than flirt! lol. Of course, via emails to Paris PA's I use their given names, but not to my boss's connection outside office when I make lunch appointment, I use Mr. surname to begin with all the time, even they start finishing by their first name. Formality is comfortable as a professional manner, in a way.

Short answer: yes the French still say chinchin sometimes, it's a bit old-fashioned though. I think it's supposed to replicate the sound of two glasses hitting each other (would you say that? Damn my English is even poorer when hangovered) before drinking. Didnt know it was done in the UK too though.

And in Japan, it simply means dick. So of course they love it when a clueless frenchy say that when raising his first glass here (been there , done that :D)
