Presumably you're older, married, and with an established career. At one point in your life you had time. You chose to spend it on something else. If you had chosen to spend it on learning how to get good with women, you wouldn't need to spend any time (or money) now to pick up women - it would happen naturally, everywhere you go, without having to set aside any special time for it. By the time you're a man of sophistication, dignity, and yes, leisure, women should be throwing themselves at you, especially if you have game. Fish in a barrel!!

You have no idea what I got up to here in the 80s and 90s. Today's Tokyo is very vanilla compared to the bubble and the 90s........
And you may understand better when you get older, some of us just simply aren't interested in picking up woman anymore. It's a pain the ass. But that's absolutely a personal call. I can't argue with your approach. I'm just not there any more. Some money, a Hermes tie, John Lobb shoes, and bespoke from Zegna does make it easier though.

I personally not a fan of negging. The woman must be somewhat attracted to him in the first place for this to work.

True. Fits in with my "no complications" policy.
I do both, and I guess I'm lucky enough so that I have moral concerns with none. Or do I lack of empathy? Maybe.
In my current situation (ok money, little time, looking good, understands fashion), p4p provides me with PSE with women that I don't feel like interacting with for anything else than sex, and everybody is happy with it. There are women I want to spend time with, women I want to have sex with, and those are not necessarily the same.
Why would I talk with an american porn star? Not that I believe they're all totally uninteresting, but I don't have much will to know what they do in their lives, I just want to be like this guy I see in their movies. That's what PUA doesn't offer me, and what p4p is full of. It's not just about "doing something to get laid", it's about the conditions.
Those after GFE or "sexual chemistry" like @User#16452 provides will have a different vision, but I just want a funny, steamy, "sporty" sex session with my providers, and nothing more.
All this said, I'm glad I learned PUA things for the girls I want to spend time with. Knowing you'll be able to seduce when you find someone interesting generally reduced stress levels in my life. @jacqueh 's post above is an excellent illustration of why I keep saying that it is confusing and irrelevant to keep comparing p4p with PUA/gaming. There may not be so many that practice both, but I do think that guys generally have different motives when they seek commercial sex services than when they seek to meet, date and seduce women by PUA/gaming or in other ways. A persistent (and somewhat self-serving) notion with the gamers/PUAs seems to be that guys buy sex only because they can't get it/enough, or believe they can't get it/enouhg, in other ways; this is simply wrong.
