I don't need to Google labour and anti semitism because I am already very aware of the way this issue was weaponised to sabotage Corbyn by the right wing - and, yes, amazingly, traditionally left wing - press. Again, you don't seem to understand The Guardian or the people who run it very well.

Still. You gotta grab 'em by the pussy.

Jeremy Corbyn defended Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's 'wipe Israel off the map' speech's 'salient points'

Please, this is embarrassing. Do your own research. Properly.

So, the mainstream media, the left-wing media, the right-wing media, and all but the extremists in the Labour Party say there is a serious anti-semitism in the party. But you still defend the racist extremists. Do you know how it makes you sound?

Did you read the link I posted? Have you looked into this at all?

I read it. It is a blog by someone called ‘Simon’ with zero comments in the comments section.

Apologists to you for not mentioning I had read it earlier.

Well I can see that appealing to reason and facts is not gonna work so I'll duck out of this one.

(Simon, by the way, is Emeritus Professor of Economics and Fellow of Merton College, University of Oxford. Not that it has a lot to do with the quality of the argument he presents in the particular blog post I shared.)

i did and this is what Corbyn actually wrote:

The context overlooked by sensationalist headlines was that his speech also pointed out what Israel is doing to Palestine.

“All the righteous indignation never mentioned a few salient points. Israel has illegal and undeclared nuclear weapons, has not signed the non-proliferation treaty and continues to develop them,” he added.

Corbyn went on to condemn Israel for its “apartheid wall” and “systematic depopulation of Palestinians from Jerusalem”.

But he also said the speech “clearly departs from the two state solution that the Palestinian leadership has been pursuing for the past 20 years, and, in any event, would be illegal under the UN charter.”

Didn't he essentially say, "Yeah, they're acting like a pack of twats, but they still don't deserve the load of shite that prick just proposed."?

Kinda sort of..
The way I understood the whole thing is that he highlighted in that prick’s speech what was still valid (or at least worthy of discussion) and did not condemn clearly enough the pricky points.
Does that make him anti-Israeli government? Yes
Does that make him suspiciously lenient to a prick? Probably
Does that make it an Antisemitic prick himself? No.

(and by the way I preferred BoJo anyway, for the reason explained previously, so MossBoss and Co, Please don’t assume i am an horrible socialist antisemitic libtard snowflake bla bla bla)

I, of course, am a horrible libtard snowflake, but if you do your actual research you will see that literally everything Corbyn has ever said has been misrepresented by the mainstream media. I would be amazed if you could find a single quote of his that hasn't been taken out of context.

The most hilarious/depressing misrepresentation is the whole Corbyn as a commie meme, which even the BBC's flagship news programme perpetuated by using a ridiculous graphic of Corbyn in a Russian hat; but actually the current government, which is possibly the most corrupt British government in a couple of centuries, has been funded by Russians; and has worked with Russians (illegally - actually, illegally!) to subvert various democratic processes.

Which is of a piece with the most racist government in recent years weaponising racism to monster a guy who has spent his entire life thanklessly fighting against racism.

And, sadly, a lot of the people running the UK now, in government and in media, are actually my peers - people I went to university with, people I have worked with, friends of friends.

Anyway, as I say, I have said my bit now and I will duck out. I'd much rather spend my time on here talking about my ridiculous escapades. And I'd much rather spend my time on ridiculous escapades than getting depressed about the fact that the entire world is a shitshow right now. Shagging lots of insanely attractive Japanese women and ladyboys is my way of sticking it to the man. You are either with me or against me.

I think the artist flattered Donald a little here....

I dislike Trump, and what he stands for.

This kind of stuff irks me though.

Not because its mean, but because it is mostly created, shared and celebrated by people that virtue-signal at every opportunity about whatever social justice fad is popular right now, and would scream about fat shaming or body shaming if this was anyone else.

Typical lazy liberals playing the racist card to beat anyone they disagree.

Yeah Tony Blair paved the way for this lot - which is why The Guardian were so alarmed by the prospect of a Corbyn government.

Uh, not sure about your second point though. The current British government is openly and outright racist. Nothing to do with liberal anything.

Anything to back it up?

Only reason and facts! Pickaninnies, watermelon smiles, hostile environments etc etc. But if you need someone to explain this to you I reckon I'm gonna duck out of this one.

So, you have got nothing then. Johnson was a journalist for 30 years yet his critics still rely on the same four quotes to play the racist card (you forgot the postbox quote).

Hostrlie environment? Tell that to the illegals escaping from what must be a fascist regime in France.

That is word to word exactly what Trump supporters have been saying for years.

You have been sucking too many ladyboy’s cocks and have no grasp of the real world.

If that is the surest way to forget the real world I think I will start to do the same then. The real world sucks and still seems to be getting even worse every day.

i start to think that when a Brit and an Irish argue about politics on TAG , it gets way uglier (and more rapidly) than a French with an American :)

‘endure the NHS’.... ok that is just silly. The NHS is one of the few things everyone in the UK gets behind and is proud of. They love the NHS as much as the USA loves their ‘Freedom’.

I know quite a few brits who would disagree with this statement...
