A new side effect of Trump Derangement Syndrome is the inability to read and understand the constitutional separation of powers between the federal government and the states. As usual the media and the generally woke are more sucesseptable to this delusion.

Ok so that will be the new spin?
- its nothing
- its China’s fault
- its States’ fault
:ROFLMAO:

The media couldn't give two shits about the Constitution or 1A when they expect carte blanche to print hit pieces, biased to utter bullshit, about Trump or his admin or family. And the second The Donald calls them on their bullshit or rips them a new asshole in the WH press room, they're crying and wailing and accusing him of destroying the First Amendment. But really, Trump Derangement Syndrome is the greatest re-election asset anyone could've given The Donald. Even if Joe Biden isn't in a nursing home in November, Trump's going to win by a Reagan-esque margin.

From what we saw recently the Republicans too (except Romney) didnt give two shits about the Constitution either

That goes for 99% of politicians, regardless of party. One of the many reasons I don't work in D.C., anymore. Generally speaking, the ones who were actually serious about the oath they took won't last much longer than 4 or 5 terms (in the House) before fucking off to become a talking head. Last I checked, a Congressman's salary is $174k/year, when you could resign and become a commentator on Fox News for upwards of $1-million and also be surrounded by gorgeous blondes and thanks to Roger Ailes it's A-OK to harass them. Where the fuck can I sign up for that?

I think there is a simple solution ... any politician from a small town mayor to the prez just get one mandate . Period. He/she gets paid well enough , but he/she is seriously kicked out if he/she doesn’t respect his/her oath.
Too many he/she... will be a dude anyway :D

I have a better solution. Anyone who agrees to go on to a election campaign as a candidate will get a jail sentence. Suspended first. Then if they get elected they get taken to jail immediately.

Anyone who wants to be a politician is by definition either a criminal or mentally ill. Most of the time both.

but... who is doing whatever they are supposed to do?.... and mostly don’t do anyway?... nobody?
Damn... the answer is in the question. Belgium lived a year or so without functioning government and they were not the worse for it ... not the better either , granted, but they saved a bit on politicians salaries

There's a surprising amount of truth to that. A person who longingly aspires to elected office generally falls into one of two categories: One, a power hungry and ruthless piece of shit, or two, a sociopathic attention whore driven by the need for adoration. Sick, fucking, people.

Bernie obviously has no more chance but won't drop out.

That's because Bernie is actually fucking nuts. Not "nuts" as in Joe Biden, who is obviously suffering from dementia and probably spends a good portion of the day unaware that he's running for President. Bernie is a deranged, dyed-in-the-wool communist radical and truly believes all the Stalinist nonsense he's constantly hollering. He's not demented at all. And he's been extremely effective at cementing a massive following of 18, 19 and 20 year old unemployed snowflake losers to whom "ALL YOUR SHIT SHOULD BE FREE!!" and "DA BILLION-NAYAZ WILL PAY FOR IT!!" has been an extremely effective rallying cry (notice he's dropped "MILLION-AYAZ!!" from his rhetoric, ever since Bloomberg embarrassed him on stage by exposing that Bernie is actually a multi-millionaire with three homes who flies private jets to his rallies). And that's been an extremely effective incentive offered by every other failed totalitarian, dictatorial government disaster in history. Luckily, we'll never have to find out how that works in America.

But I give Bernie a lot of credit for at least being transparent and honest. Contrast that with Barack Obama, who was raised by a communist (his grandfather), mentored by a communist (Frank M. Davis), associated with communist radicals in college (DSA), partnered with a communist domestic terrorist (Bill Ayers) to launch his political career and even parroted communist lingo during his campaign ("I just want to spread the wealth around!") and yet he feigned support for capitalism and our constitution just enough to get otherwise wary white people in the midwest to vote for him, twice. Thank our lucky stars for the three branches of government and our SCOTUS and Congress keeping him in line for 8 years.

Bernie single-handedly ushered in a new era in American electoral politics where being an avowed "socialist"--which would've been a political death sentence two decades ago--is now chic and mainstream and even a semi-pre-requisite if you want to win the votes of morons not old enough to purchase alcohol. In the 60s, kids chanted, "All you need is love." Today, it's "YOU SHOULD PAY MY FUCKING RENT AND CELL PHONE BILL AND STARBUCKS TAB AND INSURANCE PREMIUMS AND COLLEGE TUITION BECAUSE YOU'RE WHITE AND WORKED TOO FUCKING HARD!!" The future is not bright at all.

Notice how your posts, which all contain very great points, received literally no love (aside from me giving you a thumbs up)?

It is because most of the people on here have Trump derangement syndrome and they most likely HATE conservative white males and think all this targeted racism against them is justified lol.

Yes, that, or they’re just too long to read when it gets political :D

Hey, I'm equal opportunity - I hate all politicians.

Hey, I'm equal opportunity - I hate all politicians.
Increasingly same here ... decisions are too complex to make nowadays, better to leave them to specialists who really know about what must be done.
As for Trump Derangement Syndrome its funny but I thought it referred to those who no matter what he says or does , even if it changes all the time, will be on his side. Blindly. Like a cult.
I don’t like him but actually agreed with some of his policies. On China notably the West ( as a whole) has been way too lenient

Hey, I'm equal opportunity - I hate all politicians.

I hate them all too. They are all liars and they are all playing different stage personas in what is one giant drama.

Most people get wrapped up in left and right politics and they fail to see the long extended arms above them...arms that comes from both the left and the right. They don't see that somewhere in the middle, the hidden hands meet because they are all in it together.

People need to study more history and look at some ancient Egyptian paintings that depict this false dichotomy system of right and left and the hierarchy among the classes.

I don't have Trump derangement syndrome, but I am not fan of Trump. He is still a lot less retarded than Colonel Sanders and Dr. Dementia.

I hope the person who coined the phrase "Trump Derangement Syndrome" is not part of the Whitehouse administration.

Historically, that's very, very true. Most people don't realize that all this Democrat VS Republican, Liberal VS Conservative publicity wars were just that--pure publicity, bullshit, acting and performance. No different from professional wrestling. For a time in my life I was actually a Congressional staffer, meaning I had official credentials, clearance and unfettered access to the parts of the Capitol that most Americans never get to see. Namely, the basement passageways, cafeteria and private underground subway for "Members Only" (and their staff).

You would routinely watch a several hour fight on the House floor, or Senate floor, with GOP and Democratic Senators/Reps screaming and yelling and roaring at each other, looking like they were ready to murder their colleagues on the other side of the aisle. What John Q. Public never got to see, however, was that 15 minutes after those "fights" were done, those same idiots who were screaming bloody murder at each other on the House/Senate floor were riding together on the private subway back to their office buildings, laughing and horsing around, slapping each others' asses and shamelessly hitting on their 22yo female interns/staffers who were far too terrified to say anything. The whole lot of them would stop back at their offices to bark orders at the staff and toss their portfolios (also just for show) on their desks and then all these so-called opponents (all male) would meet up again at some private champagne room or clubhouse, get shitfaced and then go out to continue the party and usually buy some high-priced wines and higher-priced escorts.

If I give Trump credit for anything, he basically put an end to the charade. Nowadays, when you see Dems and Republicans acting like they hate each other, they REALLY FUCKING HATE each other. He's forced everyone's hand, forced them to take a position and forced peoples' true colors out. He knows the media already hates him so he's free to be a loose cannon and say whatever he wants. And in the D.C. culture which is based on bullshit, this has made a lot of politicians extremely angry. TDS is real, and for good reason.

I give Trump and Bernie absolute credit for this: for better or worse, they've changed the culture in Washington forever and a lot of career politicians, whom Donald refers to as "the swamp," aren't happy about it.

i agree with what you wrote (could say the same about French politics prior to Macron , in a very different way he was the charade-breaker for us)
But given current circumstances is it really that good that they HATE each other?
We need unity and shared discipline in this era.
Abe (with all his flaws) seems to be managing the situation better than any other head of state so far. By doing very little, but enough

Your posts got way too long and somewhat repetitive, but given how you always paint your ideal life here, I sense a lot of bitterness here. Have you been kept out of the club because you don't represent a significant minority?;)

Why's that? Are you suffering from TDS?

I thought is was obvious. Attaching the President's name to a "derangement syndrome" doesn't seem like a smart move.

Imagine a roving reporter asking members of the public if they knew what "Trump Derangement Syndrome" was? I suspect the majority of people would guess the phrase TDS infers that Trump has a deranged mind ( whether they believe that, or strongly disagree with that, and irrespective of how they vote).

no, can’t be, everybody know he is a stable genius who has the best words

Well, the betting agencies now put Trump and Biden as equal so it probably is going to be an interesting battle; to see which one drops from corona first I mean.

Yeah. I hope they will just do some kind of wrestling or boxing match. Who needs another debate anyway? It would be just slurs and poorly constructed sentences on both sides .
