I'm not a member, but from what I've read UC for the most part is for guys who are married that want a regular sugar baby sort of thing. This is generally favorable for guys who are already married/long term relationship, and don't want to do straight P4P and don't have the time/interest/game for going to bars to pick up women.
As a 22 year old, you have a FAR better chance of finding women, even Japanese women, your own age to play with, and I'm assuming as a university student you might not have the extra yen to spend on a sugar baby. Between the UC fee, dinner, love hotel, and what you give the girl, the initial payout can be 5 or 6 man.
It really sort of depends on what exactly you are looking for, what your situation is, and what you can afford. I think in any case as a foreigner finding really gorgeous young Japanese women for P4P or sugar baby action is going to be more difficult as a foreigner, but not impossible.
I agree with many parts, but there are things new guys should be aware of:
1) A lot of Japanese women are into prostitution.
Enjo Kousai (compensated dating) has EXPLODED via the Internet. It's taken a different form than many people know, but a huge percentage of Japanese women between 16 to 30 (or are unmarried) are doing part time to full time prostitution.
2) Because so many Japanese guys are buying women, having plain conversations with women or pickup is unusual for many Japanese women.
And the few instances of pickup (Nampa) is given a bad reputation due to host club guys trying to hustle women into their bars for money or porn recruiters. So to many Japanese women, talking to a guy outside their college or work is shocking, unusual, and fearful. Many Japanese women are often living in a bubble world.
3) If a guy is going to do direct pickup of women in Japan, he will need to be unusually good looking, very fashionable, or highly skilled and fearless at approaching women.
This is because talking to Japanese women, contrary to all the false hype and propaganda, is more difficult than other places.
Many Japanese women will straight out lie and be fake. You can have a great talk, get her contact info, then she will never reply or talk to you again. Worse, then these Japanese women will insult the guy on Facebook or other Japanese media among her girlfriends.
And these types of tricks and games are encouraged by xenophobic and anti-male groups. Because, if she wants money and sex, such women can often be secretly prostituting themselves. And a husband is just another level of prostituting herself, so she can stay home and just get benefits and play princess.
You can pickup, just be prepared for it to be tough and ruthless in many cases.
4) Young guys should be careful about wasting their money on Japanese female prostitutes. Those women are usually no good anyway.
Consider using that money for investing in a business. ;-) But with that typed, to each his own. So have fun how you see fit.
