What does this actually mean?
He offered to pay you the prices that you advertised..
If you still want to say he tried to negotiate rates or something like that please post specific numbers that can actually be scrutinized.
It means there was X campaign, and that it ended at Y time and that he asked for campaign prices after it ended.
The question I have is was it obvious that the prices listed was a campaign that had an expiration. If not then I wouldn't call it negotiating rates. I would call it a misunderstanding of rates. He also may have been aware of a campaign but not that it had expired again a misunderstanding. However if he knew it was a campaign and that it expired and then tried to get the campaign rates that would be a different story...
